The build would be better if it were Quartz instead of the red sand stone. I see little connection between a desert based block and water. Plus what he said in structure.

I give 2/10 for an attempt that failed, badly, and the apparent need for baby steps to be taken in future builds. Watch Grian's vids, they can help

Now it's not bad. A good fountain doesn't need block variation. It's a bit one dimensional as far as fountains go and red sandstone is the ugly red-headed step-sister of the family. It's just gross. The sandstone that is. It's a decent fountain.

I'd recommend making it a bit taller and adding another build to go with it.

For all of you rating it without any tips, please, I may be an asshole, but please be kind. Criticism without recommending a solution is just lazy. Next build you make, I'll post a bad rating and no explanation. I'm not burnt your goddamn moral compass, but it's common sense to try to help someone improve.

 

That orange colour is worse than the orange of Trump's face. I highly recommend not using it.

 

the block used makes me cringed and it seems slightly out of proportion but otherwise its fine

This fountain needs to be way higher, now it looks like an orange, watery pimple.

 

It's a good start. A bit square of a fountain though
