I'm giving the link to this thread every time someone makes a nerf assassin thread. Because seriously, you could destroy the world with a meteor. You could shatter everything around you (and yourself) to kill enemies. But you can't do any of these and aim them at your enemy if you are blinded by vanish.

 

what if assassins just vanish from the world into a pocket dimension step and they can only stay for a limited time (like holding your breath) then they pop back

 

Or what if they simply cause the photons to warp past them without changing their velocity, simply skipping past that area of space time? And as long as they're warping time and space, speed and jump boost are a piece of cake.

 

My idea was a bit like yours, what assassins had the ability to make everyone forget their existence ? A bit like Meleoron's power in HunterXHunter

 

or assassin is controling water and light, with steam around them, and light reflecting off of them.

 

but how do they move while vanished towards you then kills you..

 

And after this most people just skimmed the rest and just say "Wow looks good :D"

 

Well, this is fairly correct, except, light isn't a photon. It's a wave and a photon, it depends, it's really confusing, I barely fully understand it. And photons have mass, it's just so tiny it's basically weightless

The wave-particle duality of photons is a misinterpretation, however, it is useful in classical physics. Photons are quantum probability fields, which, when measured in classical physics, can behave both as waves and as particles. A photon's mass is the same as its energy, where, to be simple, E=mc^2. If not for the different methods of measuring mass and energy, we could get rid of the c^2, and just say that E=m. Which it does. Mass is just condensed energy.

 

What if Assassins never really disappear at all? What if they simply shrink to a much smaller size (found to be possible in that newer Gavel quest - Bigger Picture I think? - where certain mushrooms can cause growing and shrinking) and pull an Antman? This also explains Assassin's increased speed and jump height because you're smaller and gravity doesn't pull as hard, and the ability to instantaneously "un-vanish" to strike your enemies. That would really just be you popping back to normal size like Antman does.

It could even be that the mushrooms give you the speed and jump boost (Shattered Minds), because hey, if you're already taking one set of shrooms for performance enhancement, why not take two? Or three? OR TWENTY? @^@

 

No, What you are saying is fairly true, Light is a Wave and a Particle. Though, i will say im no expert in Quantum Physics, or any molecular sciences.

 

Eh, quantum anything is near impossible to explain with almost any degree of certainty. Who knows what a Photon really is? Everything of that scale is only indirectly provable by calculations and educated guesses because of the Observer Effect.

 

You said it. The only way that gravity can be reduced is either through loss of mass, or locally changing the universal gravitational acceleration constant. If you make an atom smaller, the mass doesn't change. That's why white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes are so dangerous, to put it simply, even though neutron stars and black holes are degenerate matter.

Hypothesis and theories are far more than any guess. And I'm going to stop, here, and take my marbles, and go home. Home, to where my imagination says that I guess that I know what I'm talking about. And I guess that my education wasn't wasted.

 

Nothing States that it is true, and im finding conflicting points. What i understand, you are saying Wave particle Duality is untrue. Which that is completely false, or that is what research and experiments show to be true. I may have not understood what you have said, and that is completly possible. But from my understanding. It shifts from a wave to a particle depending on how we interact with it (Photons). If you are claiming this to be untrue, please add some kind of evidence
