    Hey this is short. This is about the torch holders in the dungeons and stuff. They are wooden slabs, but they have the texture of the Crafted gem (rainbow bow). It's because of the texture pack.

    The "weird" thing you saw is probaly because of the 1.9 ressource pack bugs, which will be fixed soon :P

    the weapons are retextured blocks, when in an item frame the item will render its handheld version instead of its block version.
    technically speaking this isn't a bug.
