How Do I Hand Off Leadership?

I am the current leader of the guild Da Classy Goats. I've gotten too busy over the last few weeks and have decided to step down. However, I do not know how to transfer ownership of my guild to another person so... can someone tell me how to do that.

 

Just appoint someone co-leader and leave the guild.

Here is how you do it, you do /guild leave, and it will say are you sure and will give you the name of a Chief that will become the next leader. If you are not happy to give that chief the leader position demote him to captain and do /guild leave again, and keep on going untill the person you want (has to be chief) is written on the blue lines. After that just confirm yes. You will be kicked from the guild and that Chief will gain the leader position. After that you are invited back into the guild.

This is the only way.
