Will It Really Take A While To Upgrade/sync To 1.9?

People have been talking about how it will take a year to upgrade the server to 1.9. Well, yes, that's a possibility, but I don't think it will be a whole year.

If you've seen, other servers have ALREADY, yes, already synced the 1.9 update to their servers. I'm pretty sure that Wynncraft could do the same thing easily; not upgrade the whole server, just be able to sync it with 1.8 I'm sure that the coding on those servers are just as unique (like hypixel) so if they managed to push it out the day after the update, I'm sure it couldn't take too long for wynncraft to be

 

It's because it takes a long time to update Wynncraft's code, and they only have 1 developer to really convert it.

 

People are overreacting a bit. Unlike common belief, 1.9 actually didn't change that much. It mostly added new features. Every update will take while, but 1.8 only took so long because it basically rewrote half of the game. So don't expect to wait like a year this time around.

 

the worst part about when wynn updated to 1.8 is that they didn't add rabbits in gavel ;w;

Most servers planned months in advance to start updating the server. I don't think it will take a year but who knows...

 

But what about gaurdians and ender mites, they deserve love too ;-;

 

Wonder if there will be Shulkers in Wynn 1.9
And there MUST be a way of getting of getting an Enderdragon head.

 

Just imagine what a remodeling of that head could be used for...
