A Marauders Dues Glitch?

I am stuck on the quest A marauders dues because something weird. I am supposed to retrieve 'the gem" from the chasm. but there are two arrows directing me where to go, but they led me to nowhere at all. and then I watched a video on the quest, and I found out that Volmor is supposed to talk to you as you fall. but I have jumped in that chasm from so many places, and he hasn't spoken to me once. and also in the video there was items on the ground where the arrows were pointing, but when I went there there was nothing on the ground

The items not spawning is a current known bug. I don't think they know about the talking one tho. If you want to post a bug report I recommend going here: https://github.com/Wynncraft/Issues/issues

That may be because nobody else has really noticed it, or because the rules were recently updated (Feb 15, 2016). Either way, it's just my friendly opinion, which, with a dollar, will get you a cup of coffee at McDonald's.
