Welcome everyone, to a theory based more on a "back to the roots" style of the old WynnTheories. This is made due to the arguing over the current theories, so I decided that we should all share a simple, non-controversial (hopefully) topic. Theories like this have been made before in the past, yet nothing of this sort is apparent after 9/7 to my knowledge. So without further ado, let's get to it!

So as many of you know, the Emerald is a base currency of Wynn. But how much does a single emerald cost in reality? To look at this we need to determine the following things:
-Color
-Clarity
-Cut
-Carat
(Represented in order from most important to least important)

Color - The most precious emeralds are tinted with blueish-green to pure green. As we see with the emerald in Wynncraft, it is the ladder. This means the emerald is a very high percent pure and has next to no traces of iron or other minerals in it, rising its price up shockingly.

Clarity - This is the most confusing topic of the 4. Since the emerald has no visible traces of other minerals or fissures in it, it could be considered Type III. Since there is no way to truly tell if it is Type III or flawless as microscopes haven't been invented yet, and the fact its just pixels: I'm going to assume its a Type III.

Cut - There isn't much to say about this. Emeralds aren't cut in hexagon shapes, but instead prefer "emerald cuts" or "pear cuts." I'm going to assume it's closer to a emerald cut put diagonally for this.

Carat - Since the player is about 2 meters and averages around 31-ish pixels (may be wrong) and the emerald is about 8 pixels compared to the player. This averages out to 3.87 of a meter, which I will simplify to about 1/4. That means an emerald is about 25cm. 1 carat roughly translates to 7mm, since an emerald is 25cm, that means a single emerald is 35.71 (shortening to 36) carats. Since it is a type III clarity, pure green, emerald-cut: 1 carat is going to be around 6,000 dollars for the sake of simplicity. That means 6,000 x 35 is 21,0000$. That's a lotta money.

Now that we have the basic estimated price for an emerald, how much is an LE?
First we have to get from 1 emerald to 1 EB, so that's 21,000x64 which is 13,440,000$
That's not enough though! Now we need to get from 1 EB to 1 LE which is 13,440,000x64 which totals up to a whopping: 860,160,000$

In no way is this a perfect theory, and some of it may be just wrong. But the point isn't to be right, it's to have fun and be a part of the community. So, if you have a better idea of how it's priced then this estimate, please tell me.

The video wasn't about effectiveness, it was about value. He measured the same 4 gem qualities that you did, estimated the price per carat, used pixel measurements to find the amount of carats in the armor, and then multiplied. Not saying its a bad theory, it just reminded me of the template he used for the diamond armor theory.
