Technically, that only works if you start on the same edge, and only for mazes in 2 dimensions. If the entrance and exit are both on the outer edge, then yes, this strategy will (eventually) work. However, if the entrance is on an edge and the exit is over there in the centre, it will never work. Same goes for 3 dimensional mazes.

 

I've created a few mazes like that for Minecraft too. Except the entrance was in the middle and since you had to press a button to unlock the exit in time, you couldn't cheat in them.

Yeah, and that's just one of many reasons why Jungle Fever is famously annoying.

 

why is it not changed though, if there is a rule that says "no mazes"?

 

Jungle Fever has so many problems that it's one of those terrible quests that just really resonates with you later, it isn't long before you look back and laugh on them. While we are very against mazes, I feel like quests like Jungle Fever should remain untouched, and therefore be an exception to the "rule"

 

What about the maze with the T4 chest....

 

The Jungle Fever maze isn't that bad. What bugged me the first time I was doing this was the travel expenses from using like 3 Troms scrolls, 2 Detlas scrolls, and a Alumj scroll which back then cost around 15 EB in total. Of course after this your SP would be quite low so the guards became much more frightening to deal with, but as an Archer Speed III let me go around them and if they got too close I'd Arrow Storm them away.

 

Yeah Jungle Fever isn't a terrible quest only because of the maze, most aggravating quests are the ones that send you back and forth a ridiculous amount of times.

Not too bad actually if you have all the items prepared. Plus troms is literally right next to it so there's a bank, and I have a shop for those items :3
