Guide How To Get On Top Of The Molten Heights

Some people do not know to get on top of the molten heights, and I admit, it's rather tricky.

So here's a little guide on getting there.

I can not promise this is the best way, but this is how I did it.

I am a mage, so I can teleport.



NOTE: I originally made this as a guide to the Dogun Village for the Grant Theorists, so step four is about going to the village, you should be on top by step 3!

Picture 1: I started by going up from the Sky Raider Base to the ice castle to peek around

Picture 2: I skirted the east wall until I got to the edge of the MH

Picture 3: I did some weird teleporting climbing stuff, and I eventually got on top

Picture 4: Just go to the village from there. I stopped at the Colosseum thing first, but you don't need to.

So yeah! You can comment what you think, but that is my little guide on how I got to the Dogun Village!

 

There's a much easier way to get up there, give me a minute to post screenshots and instructions

Here's the easier way:

Spoiler: Route

Leaving from Rodoroc, head straight and then turn left at the fork. Continue through the cave until you get to the bones (popular loot chest spot)


Walk along the left path, until you see a giant pillar thingymajig


There is a gate right in the front of this pillar, here


Go through the gate and there are launchpads. 3 of them. Carefully walk onto them and land on the next landing spot. Be warned, you take fall damage - you can die!

There are stairs?

 

Oh right, the stairs. I think there are stairs to the right of rodoroc's exit? There's like salamander or lizard mobs there
I like my launch pad route, it's fun :D
The 2 ways take you to different parts anyways. Stairs takes you to the giant building area with mobs, the launch pad takes you to the wooden bridges and dragon(?) eggs to the north (where there are no mobs)
The Doguns are in the middle of the 2 sides

 

O lol, didn't know the launch pads had a use
I always just used them to get that tier 2 loot chest on the side of the second launchpad during my loot chest runs

Oh yea, forgot to mention the chest :P
I've gotten a spiritshock from that chest when i first discovered it ^-^

 

or you can just parkour
if i can do it with assassin i am sure every other class can :P
