i didnt get a screen shot of it but the consol of wynncraft said were restarting this server to apply updates! what culd dis mean? gavel followup update confimred?

 

I'm not really sure because there hasn't been a news post about it and nobody else has said anything.

 

Was talking to Selvut about what happened, and attempted to tell him that the meteore causing a 0.3ms lag spike thing was a joke Salted made on the forums, only to find what they changed!

They nerfed /msg!

I have no idea, I was just making a joke about how they nerf everything

 

We updated the database that stores game data to hopefully be a bit more reliable. Restarting it caused servers to be unable to load player data for a while and I guess it also impacted the messaging system. Nothing else was updated, and everything should be working as normal once again.

 

So is it safe to log in now?

 

Does this mean we won't lose items due to our skill points not loading anymore? So I can log onto 3 of my classes without worrying about losing legendary gear?

 

This has nothing to do with that bug. This simply makes it less likely that the servers will crash on us due to them losing their connection to the database.

It's been fine to login for at least an hour or two now.
