Mage Builds

Hey guys, I am just wondering about mage builds today. Since mages abilities use thunder, fire, and water, would intel, def, and dex be good for mage? Thanks

 

Mage abilities use earth as well.

 

It all depends on your playstyle if you choose to be offensive or defensive, however, I don't recommend prioritizing on strength as most strength-related armor impedes spell damage, which is what the Mage excels in. It's a good idea to incorporate a good deal of intelligence into your build to use spells more frequently and equip water-based gear, which increases spell damage, but impedes melee damage. Low melee damage won't be a problem if your spell damage is really high.

The water build is pretty OP right now. Go for as much mana regen and spell damage as possible, and you should have pretty powerful Heals, as well as the ability to frequently cast the other spells.
