I Found A Rather Large Hole In The World As I Was Traveling To Gavel For The First Time...

I found this hole, and thought it was a chunk error. So me and my very smart self decided to ride my boat over it... It wasn't. I fell halfway down before i luckily got back into the adjacent water.

Thats just the chunks not loading, I'm pretty sure

 

Noooo I fell down it, but I managed to not fall into the void.

 

World hole re logging helps most of the time

 

Yeah, the chunks weren't loading properly. To fix it just do F3 + A

 

You will be teleported out I I'm right if you fixed it

 

Umm I think I wrote it incorrectly... I FELL down the hole. I DIDN'T get teleported back up... I had to quickly get into the adjacent water.

 

Oh THAT hole! I remember seeing it on the way to Gavel. It should have been fixed... :/

 

Same, saw that hole as well, noticed it twice in 2 classes, so I thought something was up, but I mostly just ignored it.

 

That sounds like a chunk error.

 

A chunk error would have teleported him out

 

sometimes, if you're timing out and your internet isn't really uploading fast enough, you can kinda slowly float down the chunk and not get teleported back up
99.9% sure this is a chunk not loading

 

pretty sure a hole that noticable would be noticed by now

 

I think he meant that he actually FELL down the hole. Floating down is different

Holes like this, i found one in Lazarus pit. It was real, to know it was press f3 and then look at the hole, it should tell you if you're looking at a block or not
