So, I was chilling in WynnCraft when my buddy, @Rujala messages me saying he was investigating something Mod Selvut said on his Forum Profile.
"Unrelated to Gale or anything, there's a "secret" near the Gavel Lazarus Pit areas that I am legitimately shocked no one has mentioned yet." - Selvut283
So, he went in to investigate and gave me reports on what he found, specifically mobs.
    -Mismatched Feet
    -Stitched Legs
    -Bloodless Heads
    -Consuming Viscera
    -Openflesh Humans
    -Boss: Amalgam

So, a bit of back story on the local area. This cave that was investigated is very near Dullahan Castle. Mr Dullahan was notorious for decapitating people left, right and center up until his execution 1000 years ago. However, his guards still occasionally nab people and lock em up in his castle basement, where they die. A few guards threw some bodies into a small pond. This small pond, however, is connected to the Lazarus Pit, a chasm full of water that grant's eternal life; Gavel's Fountain of Youth (Wynn's is in Dernel Jungle).
This pond brought the bodies back to life, creating Reanimated Corpses, a mob needed for a quest (cant remember which). However, with the cave above been explored, there's a possibility that the guards also enjoyed cutting people up before tossing them.

Mismatched feet are obviously pairs of feet. Stitched Legs, people's lower halves with a mind of their own. Bloodless Heads (not really surprising, knowing Dullahan), Consuming Visceras (giant stomach cavities with the squishy, digesty organs), Openflesh Humans-

Wait, wait. Openflesh Humans? HUMANS? There's dead Wynnic and Fruman folks in there, walking around without their skin! The gates to Gavel opened only 100 years ago, so that means either A) Humans were in Gavel before the gates opened, or B) the Dullahan and his guards went to town on humans in Gavel in the past 100 years (not so likely as we don't even see humans anywhere in Gavel other than Ahmsord). Either way, kinda scary. But that's not the best part.

Amalgam, the boss of this dungeon. He has over 100k health, but hits and walks slow. So who is this guy? Well, I think he's made up of a bunch of other guys. The word "amalgam" means "a mixture or blend". Seeing the moving limbs, there's a good chance Amalgam is like Frankenstein's Monster, Adam: stitched together crudely, is terrifying, and best friends with Alvin and the Chipmunks (probably not). Amalgam, and these other flesh golems, may have been part of an experiment of Dullahan's, probably trying to work with early forms of necromancy (but without the whole magic thing).

Last thing that's interesting about this cave is that the mobs drop Misc Items (not junk) that only they seem to drop, stitched flesh and bloodshot eyes. Maybe this place was for a scrapped quest? A future quest? Who knows.

By this point, you probably are curious and wanna check for yourself. However, I don't have coordinates, but the cave is next to Dullahan's Castle. Be careful, as nightwatchers, werewolves, and that damned clown spawn near there, as well as guards and dead people. Thanks for reading.

UPDATE: Selvut has confirmed that the Openflesh Humans' names are a mistake, tho also did point out humans could have been going to Gavel through Josafash Docks. So, less humans, more big noses.

Meh I think openflesh humans is a mistake from the dev team. They make a shit ton of small mistakes, and this just looks like another one of them.

Idk, I don't see why they would specifically capture humans...and why there would be so many humans there.

Well, Selvut did say that something hadn't been found. So unless this wasn't it, there is actually a really interesting find.

He must mean that 4th string of grass on the left side of southern face of that one mound that is 12 blocks high.

You do realise that Selvut is that guy who doesn't hint at random things like grass but instead at lore-changing places and items?

Well, there's still the possibility the last 100 years was when Dullahan went absolutely beserk with kidnappings, beheadings, killings, maimings, torturings, soul removings, scarings, hauntings, and rememberings of the fact he had an ironic death. However, they could be sneaking into Wynn or Fruma to get humans, or humans have been in Gavel for a lot longer than we thought.

Side note, there is at least one human who has confirmed to work for Gavel's Higher Ups, Big Butch. He did make flesh golems as well, though out of Gerts.

Hrmmmmm I don't think this is what Selvut is hinting at. He makes it sounds though it's something obvious, because he's surprised we haven't found it yet. I doubt a theory that Dullahan's servants are sneaking into human inhabited places, is what he wants us to find.

Scrap that, Big Butch aint a human, he just had a human head when I fought him like 2 months ago. Gert says he's a villager.

No, Selvut did confirm (I think) on his Profile Post that the cave of flesh golems is what he was talking about, he was just surprised no one mentioned it yet. He said there wasn't anything too crazy with the place, just added to the story of Gavel kinda. The theories are possibilities that's what he wanted to be found, or not. Theyre just my personal guess on this fleshy cave.

Oh, I see. Well your hypothesis still doesn't make that much sense... in my eyes atleast. Why would Dullahan specifically pick out humans? Why are there even so many damn humans in that one area as well? I mean seeing an npc human in Gavel is pretty damn rare, and having just so many in one spot? It feels as though that this is more of a dev's mistake rather than an intentional piece of lore.

That's the thing tho, why would humans be there, and why would Dullahan be targeting humans? He's been after villagers for a long time, maybe he want's something new to cut open. Maybe villagers have weaker bodies than humans and he wanted to create a strong flesh golem. Maybe he doesn't like big noses. Well, the bodies are in that spot as the water from the Lazarus Pit brought them back to life. They could be heroes and whatnot from all over Gavel, getting nabbed by the Dullahan Chan Clan. We're missing too much on Dullahan to really make a definitive answer tho.

Well I remember a quest gives you access to the Dullahan Mansion. I've never been in there. If you can even go there. I've heard rumors that it's a future dungeon, so until then most of our questions will be left unanswered. Oh yeah, and I personally think we're looking to hard into this. I doubt we'll dig up any emeralds in this cave...

It is a reward from a quest, but we can't get into it yet. And yeah, I was more making notes first, crazy theory later. There are a few diamond mines a few caves over, as well as a lost, ruined city flowing with magic.

What interests me more if the future Light realm dungeon. We'll see more of the main forces that are at collision, that are causing all of these problems. Due to their collateral damage from their wars. We might find out more on how light and dark work, and how the effect their surrounding areas.
