Message To People Asking For Dungeon/quests Update

This to a thread addressing all the people who have been asking for a complete date or hints of when it will come out. STOP FFS. All you are doing is pushing them more and more until they have to rush, causing a terrible update. How do I know this? Well, because the same thing happened to gavel.

If they give information like "we finished the (insert part of dungeon here) in the (insert dungeon here)", it would spoil bosses in the dungeon and even where the dungeons will be at (Please dont say stuff like you know that there is one in light realm, because there most likely will be much more than the ones that are known).

Also, giving a percentage or date of when it will come out will be a complete lie. This will make people hyped and then angry that their fantasy date didnt come (Kinda sounds like Gavel huh) and then the content team will RUSH to finish the follow-update and it will have a lot of bugs because they didnt take their time (sounds like gavel huh), which will result in several bug patches that will be needed and probably a much bigger patch to fix it all (KINDA SOUNDS LIKE GAVEL HUUUUH). Before someone says that "Your wrung gavel is AMAZING AWESOME COOLS and there is notin wrong with it", remember that because of the rush and push that people caused, they had to make this setback.

What if gavel wasnt pushed? Wouldn't it of came out and have been 100% done?

Moral of the story is, be patient and stop making threads about when its coming out.

 

Well, also the team has probaly learned.
They likely won't rush it, no matter how many posts are made.
That's why those messages are useless, and will only provoke flame >:3

Flame=Ban (or warning, same thing).....

THEY ARE PURGING THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO RUSH IT. OMG GENIUS!

 

If we travelled back to 4 months ago, changed the word from "Dungeon/quests" to "Gavel", this thread would still have the exact same message, you learn something new everyday.

 

Well, I did kinda do that and I got tons of hate (Pretty much responses like my example)

 

My go-to response whenever this comes up is "just sitting here patiently waiting..." I won't lie, I'd love it if the update came out right away, but I understand that quality takes time, so I'm okay waiting even if I do get a little tired of it sometimes... In fact I actually get tired of waiting rather frequently, I just don't say so because I know it's pointless and I don't want to rush the devs and bother everyone else who's also patiently waiting alongside me.

I dont mind waiting a year if that dungeon makes blackrock mountain look like the Halloween haunted house thats made of cheap plastic skeletons

 

That would had been the perfect scenario, but it would also mean people would be waiting for fall of 2016 ;D

1. We do deserved to get blamed for rushing Gavel and not letting them have more time to complete it and have a perfect game for all.

2. But then again it shows to the staff that they shouldn't promise anything or promise a CONFIRMED realease date or people will go beserk about it

So at the end of the day, there is no win or lose, both sides are responcible for the rushing of Gavel

Thats the first smartest thing I've said since I've started the forums

 

i am ok if we dont get the big patch/mini update or whatever with story line and stuff but what happend to "there will be a new quest every 2-3 weeks after gavel comes out" to add some content slowly to high lvl areas
i really just wanna lvl up my lvl 90+ class but its hell ;-;

Personally I don't mind having to wait for new updates. Other than the obvious fact that it makes sure that the update is 100% ready to go, it allows you to explore more of the province and find areas you might not have found before (I was still discovering parts of Wynn before Gavel came out).

To quote Jake the Dog:
"To live life, you need problems. If you get everything you want when you want it, what's the point of living?"

If we get updates whenever we want, we'll exhaust them of their main content and leave some behind to move on to newer things instead of sticking around for a bit more.
