That Was Unexpected

I was doing the A Fighting Species quest just now and after beating the boss I exited through the coal block teleporter. I then walked forward and stepped on the pressure plate to open the wall and get out but instead it teleported me back into the boss room. I tried multiple times, tried switching servers, it kept happening.

Being lazy I decided to just let the boss kill me instead of working my way back through the tunnels to get out. When I died I didn't spawn in Olux like I assumed I would though.

As you can see, I'm lvl 64 and in the tutorial area again. This has never happened to me before so I thought it might be interesting enough to post.

 

This also happens/happened in the shattered minds quest at a certain points. Be careful with that.

Heh, orcs are stronger than you I thought.

 

What happens is that the boss rooms are outside the map, so when you die, you get sent back to the nearest city. That's why the Wynnic Scouts motto is:

Always Be Prepared...with a TP Scroll!​

 

This also happened to me at the end of fantastic voyage in the ending room
