My Life Steal And Mana Steal Aren't Working Anymore!!

    We keep being told that lifesteal works with normal attacks, but I don't really see it working for me. I have Tisaun's Proof (fast attack speed) and it has +2 tier attack speed on it. I also have 212 lifesteal and after intentionally getting myself to under 1k hp and then smacking a guard at cinfras for about a minute straight I saw no lifesteal. After about a minute of hitting the guard my hp was at about 1300 and that was from my regen. The only time I've seen it activate is when fighting big groups of mobs, but at that point I'm taking far more damage than I can steal back so it is pretty much worthless.

    As for the comment about the game requiring skill now and you needing to actually try to dodge mobs, I can't really do that. I'm a Knight, a lot of my gear comes with movement speed down on it. Mages and Archers can stand back and kite mobs, so obviously dodging works for them. Assassins are usually built to be fast, so they can dodge as well. Warriors and Knights though, if you want to be fast you have to build your character for it. Mine isn't built to be fast, so I can't dodge mobs and I end up taking a lot of damage now because of it since lifesteal isn't doing hardly anything for me. (94 defense and 94 str or somewhere around there atm).

    Spiritshock with +4 tier attack speed isnt giving the life steal every 2 seconds that it should, especially since I have 2 Jester Rings equipped and a 141/2 life steal Spiritshock.

    @Selvut283 Don't you guys see that you're forcing the us to play and use the same builds? I must agree that lifesteal was overpowered and nerfing it was indeed needed although making it activate only from main attacks and not even from every attack is BS. Can't you see that some people don't like using pots? You nerfed health regen to the point where it's useless , and now you nerfed lifesteal , it's like you're forcing us to use pots as there currently are no other reliable ways to heal (except for the mage's heal spell which is overpowered) . You ruined many items such as the executioner or the apocalypse . Why don't you make it so that instead of a chance for it to activate we steal a percentage of the damage we deal .
    Most high lifesteal items are for higher levels which means by the time i'll get to use that item my health will be high and the mobs will deal more damage thus making the lifesteal insignificant .
    A percentage based lifesteal would make much more sense , a lot of high lifesteal items don't give u much damage or strength so it should be balanced.
    Also what about mana steal? You are making it so people have to use high mana regen items if they want mana since the mana steal is bloody useless which makes items like the black daggers and executioner not worth using . Also if you are going to keep these changes atleast decrease the mana pot price.

    You haven't noticed how the speed of health regen seems to have tripled with this update.

    How was Apocalypse ruined? We haven't touched it.

    Mana Steal follows the same rules as Life Steal, and items like Black have very fast speed, letting you hit a lot of opponents really fast to regain your mana. Executioner's Helmet...I wasn't the one who nerfed it. Ask Salted about that one. I personally don't think it should've given negative health.

    The chance is too low . I was constantly hitting enemies with a super fast spear and only got my lifesteal like every 9 seconds . Apocalypse got nerfed when you nerfed lifesteal .
    What do you think about the percentage based lifesteal though? Isn't that a better idea? I'm sure everyone would like to have a decent reliable lifesteal function and not a chance based one and the percentages would be pretty low on items . For example 10% on executioner 15% on apocalypse etc.
    If your lifesteal is 25% you will have to deal 40000 damage to get 10k hp back. And unless your build can deal 15k damage a hit or something that should be balanced.
