Render Tried A Bit Of Lighting, Kinda Failed.

    Well, I tried to make a bit of lighting on my render. I hope you guys think it's good

    The particles are annoying but yeah.

    That's because the default rendering engine of Blender is very unrealistic, and that's why they're only working on improvements for Cycles. (The new one)


    @ExtremeGamer78 I'll recommand you to use a cycles rig of you want to get better in terms of lighting.

    I followed the video you posted for me, and I dont know if I'm usi,g Cycles or not, I choose the top and select "Cycles Render", am I doing something wrong?

    No, its fine. Just one thing. You should put another very weak light outside the box to demonstrate the cave. Also, go to your render settings and turn up the sample up to 500 to reduce the particles. (a decent computer can handle it.) The best way to light with cycles is with planes, and suns. Try adding emission shader to the top of the torch and add some blur using Photoshop/Gimp to make it more realistic.

    Also you should fix the blur on the blocks by going to the image texture settings, and choose closest.


    And the best tip with cycles is: take inspiration from real life.
