SPOILER Cowfusion Gibberish

Hello! As all of you who have completed Cowfusion know, right after you go to retrieve the stolen cow from Veekhat, all of the humans are speaking in gibberish, except for a couple names in bold. I like to take pictures of all quest dialogues just for future reference, and as I was looking back on these pictures I noticed they looked like they might be in a letter switch code. So I sat down for a while and worked on trying to decode it, if such was possible, and it turns out it might be true. So, I'd like to share what I think they say!


Human:

What happened? Where am I? Ahhh! A cow! Thaz's me! Is this a mirror? Wait! I'm a billager now!

Have we swapped our bodies? You should talk to [Veekhat] about this.


Veekhat:

Did you just turn into a... cow? I-it worked! The amazing Veekhat strikes again! Ha ha ha!

I doubt that you will help me, which is not a wise choice, so at least I've lowered the threat. Just head back to that farmer, [Ranol].


Ranol:

Ah! Me cow's back! Get in the pen now.


All of this is done completely from my guesswork, so it's possible I'm wrong about it. If that is the case, feel free to correct me.

Then that's a smart plugin, lol. Save for the unfortunate letters inscribed for villager and that's, it looks quite genuine. Even if it is just implemented by the plugin, it still is interesting to use, if for roleplaying or stories or whatever it may be. And, I'm fairly sure %k is the random letters that spin wildly and this player is talking about letters that are gibberish, but stay constant and do not do the characteristic flipping of %k text.

I am sure the text was not changing characters rapidly when I read it (as %k does) and that it was constant. However, I do take screenshots of all my quest dialogue I encounter! If someone else has screenshots, they should compare them to see if the text differs. These are the ones I took and referenced for this:



What made me take notice in the first place is that the sentences do have structure. All of them have proper capitalization, and there are even repeated patterns of letters. The Human says "qefp" twice, for example, and Veekhat says "sz" three times in a row (this particular example was what first made me realize there might be switched letters).

It does translate! Each character has a different cipher though. The cow-turned-human has a 3-letters-forward Caesar cipher. Veekhat has Atbash, where you switch A with Z, B with Y, and so on. Ranol has Atbash too.
Dialogue:
Human: What happened? Where am I? Ahhh! A cow! Thaz's me! Is this a mirror? Wait! I'm a billager now!
Human: Have we swapped our bodies? You shoud talk to Veekhat about this.

Veekhat: Did you just turn into a... Cow? I-it worked! The amazing Veekhat strikes again! Ha ha ha!

Congrats OP, your guesses were 100% correct. I like how the cow-turned-human has plenty of typos, while Ranol and Veekhat speak just fine, with Ranol having the typical farmer accent.
