Guide A Quick Insight To Voxelsniper

Hey Alex here, I've been a content team builder for a very long time. Ive never really terra formed much over the the years so recently i decided to try to learn the basics of voxel sniper. I looked at the voxelsniper wiki and found it hard to navigate and confusing so after some time i decided to compile my own simple version with a few essential commands to building. Enjoy !

You will need:

Voxel sniper duh xD
Arrow
Gunpowder
Minimal brainpower :D

Voxel commands (Basics):

/u (undos)
/r (redos)

/v [item id] (change material using)
/b [number] (change size of brush)
/b d m (makes disc)
/b v m (makes large block)
/b b m (makes ball)

Replacing materials:

/b b mm
/vr [item id of material you are replacing]
/v with material you want
point and click and your material with be replaced with desired one

Terraforming:

/b e melt
/b e fill
/b e smooth
/b e lift

All four of these commands have self explanatory applications. and can be used in conjunction with one another to alter terrain. They are basically the bread and butter of all terraforming.

/b bb (blend ball, smooths terrain)
/b re (randomly erodes)
/b over (use this to mask over terrain very useful for adding a layer of grass to your terra form builds)
/b over d[number] (sets depth)
/b t [birch,redwood,tree,bigtree,tallredwood] (although i would not use this command as making custom trees are much better)
/b sb (creates splatter brush useful for making paths) after you’ve made the basic path you can //replace the material with desired materials using world edit

General Tips:

If you want to make flat rolling hills /b e lift then either /b bb or /b e smooth yields excellent results

Using /b d1 over with gunpowder can lead to interesting terrain formations like mesa canyon shapes. You can also vary the size of the brush with /b to produced tall mountains or floating islands as seen in the sky islands and on grains video covering this.

Remember the gunpowder does the opposite to the arrow.

There are many more commands that you can utilise in voxel sniper, but these are the ones i chose that I think will help the most for any aspiring builders. Let me know if this helped and if you would like to see a similar thread on world edit.
