    Hello Wynncraftians!

So as some of you know, a lot of Wynncraft was inspired by Lord of the Rings, and apparently The Hobbit now as well.

    Behold:

    Gud joke.
Also, there are a lot of cases of *decay*, not just lord of the rings!

Don't forget that the admins definitely take inspiration from the lord of the rings (lord of the clock) and I could totally see them do it for this too

Lord of the Clock was just a joke quest though.
Or at least it seems like one.

I thought WynnCraft was inspired by the game RuneScape, hence a few quest names being taken word for word, CoW being like Iban, Elves locking themselves away, rather intelligent "green skins" (even though a few books and movies did this long prior), desert city getting hit with a magic drought, etc. Really, I'm just waiting for the giant spider Qira has to wed off to a three-headed Enderdragon.

The inspiration for the decay was the corruption. They share many similarities.
They both infect and spread through the land.
They both control the minds of humans, villagers, and animals that live there.
They both started from greed-The corruption by greedy miners and the decay by greed in Gavel

I mean actual inspirations. These people made both of them, but what are their external influences. The decay can't be inspired from the corruption because it just doesn't work that way.

Oh what if it's based off the Black Death? The plague that struck Europe back then?
