I think she was more interested in killing off the cause of the decay (I think the creatures inside the realm of shadows (possibly Naragath) based on Mr. Caritat's line) then just stopping the effects it has on Gavel.

 

Someone tagged me here, so I may as well say something.

This is not really a theory, it's more of a "what do you guys think". And don't get me wrong, that's actually usually something that's important in theory making (like my what would this imply series) but I just don't think it would be right to call it a theory

Onto the actual thread, I guess it would make sense. But I am more interested in what you comment after. You say
