Relic Daggers

I just started using the daggers, and it does all the elements and neutral damage, but doesn't give the buffs such as xp, loot, stats

 

It does, hold it in your hand and then go to the compass, but it doesn't really matter for now, since Salted said they were going to implement a 'lock on' feature where if you hold a weapon for about 2 seconds, the stats are permanently on your character until you hold another weapon for 2 seconds. Or something like that.

 

I do but when I check the stats none of it is buffed

 

Any other way to fix it?

 

What hand slot is your dagger in?

 

Whenever my IDs glitch out, (happens a lot) I go to /class and then come back. This effectively relogs all IDs.

 

The first one, and I'll try to reset the log ids, but I reset my minecraft and that didn't work

This happens sometimes but it doesn't really matter. The effects are given, just add or take away the ids from the ones it says in your id info.

 

the way it works is that you only get the bonus from the weapon if you are holding it.
to access the compass you have to hold it.
you cant hold both the compass and the weapon.
you are getting the bonus, you just cant see it in the compass.

 

So I figured it out, the relic daggers do give the xp and loot buffs when you hover character buffs, as well as the skill point buffs. The only thing is that where you upgrade your skill points, it doesn't show, meaning I can't wear skill point specific things. I know that the daggers used to show, but now they don't so I can't wear thing such as specter which requires agility 35

or freeze your body like Fry, from futurerama, or Eric Cartman and wake up in the future.

Actually, at least from what I have noticed the stats only apply from the last weapon you cast a spell with. (If the last spell I cast was with my Ethereal, my mana regen is listed as 6/4, while if the last spell I cast was with my Bob's Mythic Wand, my mana regen is listed as 3/4)
