SPOILER Qira: Good Or Evil? Interesting Theory! :o

Thanks. I wanted to be a theorist, but I didn't want to do bob theories (which imo, are outdated, bob was from like ages ago)

 

Also, can you possibly advertise the thread in the next Wynn News? I'm hoping this gets popular enough to get any theories or counter theories.

Why do you think so close-mindedly. Qira doesn't have to be a good, or bad person. All people do good, and all people do bad, in this case Qira did bad things to creatures for a good cause. There is light and dark, black and white. But there is also red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.

 

Holy cow, I actually decided to read this, and this thing has so many loose ends, it makes a plate of spaghetti look like a hand-woven Mexican bowl. First off, being embarrassed to lose to a human is quite alright; humans naturally are hairless apes; the villagers have natural magic, elves have keen senses and extended lifespans, orcs are powerful warriors by nature, dwarves are masters of the mines and the forge, doguns can survive intense heat, gerts are extremely smart; humans are monkeys, so dont bring in this WynnHate from the mistress. She also is making the army to fight the darkness; the opposite of the light. AKA, the thing that caused the decay, creating the swamps and the Dark Forest, as well as the beasties that live in it. Also, ToA? Really? What vendetta would Qira have with Death? They both enjoy a good fight, but even they don't want civies to die cause of a game.
Name aside, she ain't "good", she's thinking of the whole existence of life on the Overworld. Whatever this Darkness stuff is, it is extremely powerful. For all we know, she's making this army to fight the Darkness to protect her. Also, she most likely uses the fear factor to keep the Gavel Higher Ups from meddling with her monster mash, as the Gavel higher ups have no plan of doing good for anyone.

 

Holy shit I clicked on your profile picture to take a closer look at it, and I noticed you're from San Diego. Anyways, back to what I was going to say. Uhhh... oh yeah. Holy shit again, we need more people like you in the lore community. You fit every criteria that most people don't have.

I agree with you on the human part. I'm going to change that. The thing I'm not changing is that she's good. But as I said earlier in the comments, she may be INSANE good. Fighting the darkness caused her to go insane because she may have seen things that us humans haven't. Monsters that she's seen that are so powerful and so scary that she ran away having nightmares. But, as she is like everybody, she wants power. She wants to run toward the monster and kill it, but the nightmares of what the monster looked like, size, strength, etc. made her go insane to where she doesn't want to stop the decay but protect herself.

Take something from Harry Potter, for example (dont open if you dont want spoilers)

In the fourth book, Harry and Viktor were walking in the forest, when Barty Crouch came up and acted insane. He said that he'd seen "terrible things", and he had to get to Dumbledore quick. He seemed obsessed with getting to Dumbledore.

They both share a similar thing. She was obsessed, Barty was obsessed, both were insane.

That explains how she acts "bad" and her block choice (and the spider)

I think that Qira's role is not as stark as this makes it out to be. She may be a good entity, but she also creates violent beings that attack all things on sight. Talking with Yansur, it sounds like Qira was given the Hive by the government of Gavel (which I still haven't found yet btw. Where are they?) In this dark hole, Qira creates monster, even if she is not one.

 

She is insane, maybe instead of being sent to a Gavel Asylum, she was sent to the Hive?

While the Death in ToA is a fake death. Qira could be fake too right? Could the giant spider over Qira be the real one?
With that the war might be Life (Qira) versus Death (Death) then it would make sence if they both have a substitute (or whatever it is called if it is someone you hide behind and control eveything behind the curtains)
Also the giant spider seems stronger than "Qira"

This theory is just gonna reach a dead end. Good and Evil are based on perspective, so based on who you're talking to, both descriptions can fit one person/thing/decay lady spider whateverQuiraIs

 

In my opinion, RPGs are supposed to show if they are good or evil. Why would they make you fight a villager or something if they're good?

 

If that Villager is good in your eyes, than you'd most likely help him. But if he's good in the decay/Qira's eyes, then he's most likely not good to you. Can't call Qira good or evil until we know her intentions.
