Quest Book Isn't Updating?

I'm in the Shattered Minds quest and I've spoken to Likeru? about 2 weeks ago. My quest book didn't update to say "enter the house by the giant frog" and it's been stuck at "Try to find civilization within the strange forest."

Talking to Likeru? again only makes her say "Well?! Did you find the rabbit yet? No?! Then go find it! It went in the house, by the big frog! HELLO FROG!"

Any idea on how to fix it? I'm unable to progress.

This quest is extremely weird

 

Have you tried just continuing on with the quest? Sometimes the quest book doesn't update but you're still allowed to do the next stage of the quest.

 

Yup. I tried going up the ladder in the house, but it's not letting me in saying that it's rude to just barge into someone else's house like that. I checked a walkthrough and that's where I was supposed to go.

 

Go back to where you started in the strange forest. Go slow, and go along the path. You probably missed some triggers. Refer to the wiki for more help if you need.

 

Pretty sure the trigger is talking to Likeru? - my book is still stuck telling me to find civilization in the forest. AFAIK Likeru? told me to look in the house before my mini-hiatus and it hasn't updated since. She's stuck saying her thing with the "HELLO FROG!". Trying to go up the ladder doesn't help too, as it stops me from going through.
