Altar In Molten Heights

I found this sort of altar in Molten Heights (coords in screenshot). It is at the end of a really long parkour. Two golems are walking around (Limonitic Golem) with both 70k health. In the center of the altar there is a small square lava lake with a hopper in the middle. I threw an emerald in and then some smoke particles appear with a sound effect, but after that nothing happens. Anyone know what to do here?

 

No nothing happens that I know of, its just a thing that makes sound and particles.

 

Seems like a good idea to toss yourself in there and gain demon powers.

 

You're doing it wrong, you have to put your son in the middle and say a prayer to Lord Cthulhu.

 

Throw pigman porkchop otno the black hopper in the middle, it opens a t4

 

For easter egg?

 

its not an easter egg, its a t4 chest location, Go to pigman ravine in ragni, kill them get the pig chops, and throw them in the hopper to open up the t4 chest location.
