Forge Problem

So, the game is preventing people with forge to join the server. Any idea on when this is going to be fixed?

 

Are you on Forge 1.7 or Forge 1.8?

Yeah i have the same problem, it really sucks.
I want to use the minimap again.

 

Just wait and be patient, I'm sure the devs are already working on it. Probably be out in the next patch.

 

I'm pretty sure the minimap is illegal, because it reveals easter eggs and places you shouldn't be and such. But I could be wrong.

 

Real problem here is that you have forge and want to play Wynn

 

No it was allowed if you disabled every mob, NPC etc.
And i cant find things underground and such but its very good for waypoints.

 

I also had this problem a while ago.
What you have to do is look for a for a modified version of forge that has something called "Bungee cord fix".

 

With Minimap you can put Waypoints, really handy if you want to find a City or going directly to the quest start point without having the F3 on.
Also, you still need the Forge for playing with Shaders. So I think that this is actually a problem, as a lot of people use it. (Optifine IS included!)

 

Good point. Minimap is still technically illegal though, and the Map is there for a reason.

 

Yea, but having a minimap gives also a real RPG feeling :3. Anyway, in my opinion this "Vanilla Server" option should be disabled again.

 

It isn`t illegal and the map is annoying as hell since you have to switch tabs every second+i still have to do the effort with coords which i suck at.

 

No, a minimap is not illegal, technically or otherwise. I've had this discussion several times, and mods have commented on it each time. Minimaps are legal, as long as all mobs and all player locators are turned off.

Right now, I'm running VoxelMap, and loading it with LiteLoader. Optifine is out, until I can find a fixed Forge, or a different MC starter.

I just need optifine to have shaders cause optifine has shaders included
