Recent Update

This patch, of sorts, broke so many things, and I for the life of me cannot find out why they even pushed the patch! All it did was break everything, and I can't find a single thing that is new or fixed!

Spoiler: The Cons

Spoiler: LLEVIGARRRRRRR

-Cannot use Mage Teleport/Dark Wizard Blink spell in Llevigar
-Llevigar TP scrolls teleport you to anywhere but Llevigar
-Logging off in Llevigar puts you in the void
-Dying in said void puts you in a random town, usually Nesaak
-Chat is spammed with "You do not have permission" messages while in Llevigar
-Sometimes cannot enter or leave Llevigar

Spoiler: Chat and Commands

Chat gets spammed with "no permissions" messages in general
-/msg and /r do not work even when the player you are msging is on the same server, SOMETIMES
-Friend List does not display online friends
-/find doesn't work

Spoiler: Items

-Mana Regen set for Level 20 no longer has good mana regen (Average changed from 10 - 2!) (Intended?)
-Bob's Mythics and Roulette nerfed (Intended, I guess it's sort of a pro and a con)
-Test Items drop from enemies and appear in loot chests
-Loot Chests cannot be opened while holding weapons

Spoiler: Other Issues

-The issue with the resource pack not loading is BACK, and BETTER THAN EVER!!!
-Lag? (Some people have been getting intense lag spikes since the update while others have been running better than before)
-Sometimes players go invisible
-Armour skins don't work sometimes

+Bob's Mythics and Roulette nerf (Pro and Con)
+New Song for Molten Heights! (Yesssssssssss)

So, was this entire patch just to nerf a few items? Because breaking everything else for fixing a few op items isn't worth it! Especially when there are way bigger issues, such as:

-Spells not working as intended (Knockback, Slowness, Freezing)
-Guilds
-Item Guide
-Broken Items (Pelier, Damasse, Devoreuse, Montefiore, Ik-El-Van, Fierte, etc)

So what was the point of this patch??

EDIT: A personal con of mine is the lack of player interaction. I would have really appreciated patch notes for this. And patch notes for every other update.

Even patch notes for this would be nice.

They should have, like, a patch note manager or something who makes all the patch notes for us.

 

BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT LAG, DO YOU???
Anyways, a lot of the bugs are being addressed and will be fixed tomorrow. We switched to a much better network, so there's some bugs that we didn't catch. Also, you got a lag INCREASE?! Your internet's to blame there. I think everyone agrees that things are much smoother - I can use a horse! A lot of what you're listing will be fixed.
EDIT: MORE! A lot of your cons aren't cons to some. For example, Roulette needed nerfing, as the infamous Cancer + Roulette build was utterly broken. A lot of the broken things are being fixed as we speak. This will literally only apply for one day.

EDIT 2: Selvut said it better. So much of those "uneeded nerfs" were needed heavily. You're just complaining because your utterly overpowered build isn't overpowered anymore, let's face it. Heck, I came up with the idea in the first place and I agree to the nerf. All your complaints about friends and /msg are because of a network switch and it's being worked on. A lot of your important issues are stated by Salted in this post to be being worked on. Sit tight, patience is a virtue. This is a two-part patch and complaining only makes the second part be delayed.

 

Roulette and the Mythics getting nerfed was unneeded, you say?

Yes, because a set of items you get at Lv 75 that were literally as powerful as Lv 100 items was completely balanced. Obviously, how could we have possibly thought a nerf was in order for them.

The Roulette/Cancer/Taurus combo was being tossed around quite a lot lately and gaining quite a lot of publicity. We tested it on the server and yes indeed, it was ridiculously overpowered. So we simply adjusted the catalyst, Roulette, so that this combination would not be quite as ludicrously broken as it was.

The 'Mana Regen Set' was not intended to be a set. Those were relics of a bygone era in development where mana worked far differently than it does now. Under that system, those items were perfectly balanced, but they slipped through the cracks when the system was changed over again. They were overpowered and desperately needed nerfing. In fact I'd be willing to bet that we still have missed an item or two with something ridiculous like 7 mana steal or 10 mana regen.

While I can't say I know what is occuring with loot chests and the TestID items, you really have no place to be complaining about the Mythics and Roulette.

 

My responces.

 

Mana Regen or Stealing of 2 or higher is reserved for very powerful water-based items, high-level items, or as standalone effects. Taking Nemract's Rage as an example, it has 2 Mana Regen. However, it is both a legendary and has only two other identifications, one of which is negative, to make up for this.

 

I just wanna note, the "broken items" like ik-el-van and fierte were technically fixed, although I'm not sure if there's a way to fix your old ones. For instance, look at this spear I got a couple days ago:

Not to mention, though I can't really blame them too much if this patch has lots of bugs, and that it's going to be fixed tomorrow (hopefully), the admins should notify us of these changes. Hopefully they will once they fix all these test items and stuff. Be sure to not forget Set Bonuses are not working, though this was present before yesterday's patch.

 

Bob's Mythics are nerfed?! YES FINALLY.

Like seriously, I still see lots of level 90's running around with them. Seriously?

 

Why didnt they chose a element and do a build for it .-.

I couldn't find a good weapon that had fit my build, but thankfully, I've found one, and it's name is "Bizzles" c:

 

Maybe they wanted to have a weapon that:
1. Has decent IDs
2. Has decent NEUTRAL damage

 

If I am not mistaken, there are high-level neutral options.

 

Cluster, Tisaun's Proof, Blade of Purity, Alazarin... guess you could throw Cascade in there for the all-around...
