    It's that way at midpoint lvl 50 as well.
    I actually stopped my archer at 50 cause I was tired of grinding.. moved on and now I have a 50+ mage

    my archer is 85 now. theres 1 lv 85 quest which i finished and i have about 1/4 left to go that i have to grind. Been trying Qira, but my def and hp are way too low right now. Only other spot would be grinding where Hippie's guide said

    A little tip to you, and everyone struggling with grinding. Hand quests in on double xp. I haven't had to grind at all so far and I'm level 86. If you don't have the patience then make sure you do it for extremely high gain quests such as the hive and the final quests. If you don't do it already :3

    You will still have to grind for some levels, like at level 66 the only quest you unlock is lost soles which gives a mediocre amount of exp for that level. Turned it in during double xp and barely got halfway to 67, had to grind in the jungle to finish the level. Also seems to be a few levels in the 70s that require grinding to progress as well.

    I actually planned to post a patch note for that one, but the spell fix didn't get pushed yet so I thought I should just wait for tomorrow. Especially since I didn't know exactly when Jum would finish working on the new network stuff.

    The main reason why we don't post patch note after every update is because we literally update the server every day, sometimes twice a day. Most of that stuff is things you won't see. I don't think you guys want us to post a whole thread saying "Meteore fire particles has been changed because it was causing a 30ms lag spike sometimes". Then every once in a while we also push the configs at the same time, which have been updated in the past few days. Sometimes they get updated without my knowledge by someone else in the team.

    The /find command was a bug while we were updating the network, we didn't remove it. Should be fixed tomorrow.

    As for the special character items, let me give you the explanation for that one. So it turns out that making the system work with them is a huge cause of lag, that we only noticed during release. We changed their name to not include those characters anymore, but it means any items that has been dropped before won't work. So that's why. We still haven't figured out how to make them work without lagging the servers, and at one point you wonder "is it really worth spending hours and pushing back other features just to fix 5 items?".

    Also as a warning, we've upgraded our network tons today. A lot of stuff has been changed, so you might see some issues until tomorrow. However it should help a lot with lag and weird issues like items randomly turning purple and stop working. We're aware about /find, scrolls/kill issues and chest/others permission bugs. It should be fixed tomorrow.

    And lastly, about people saying we don't test our stuff or we rushed Gavel. We do test our stuff a lot, but there is a major difference between half a dozen people and a whole community of thousands of people. Wynncraft is absolutely massive, and modifying only one thing can cause a lot of stuff to suddenly break. It's the same answer I give to people suggesting we add more RAM to fix the lag: It's not that simple. I wish it was though. It's especially obvious now because we're modifying a lot of backend stuff to fix lag, those are the worst.

    At this point we have to search deep inside the code for weird issues to fix them one after the other. The meteore example I gave earlier wasn't just an example, it's actually something we did a few days ago. Who could have known that particles would cause this much lag? Although I agree, I should have posted something for this update, especially knowing how much you guys love your Jester Sets and Bob's Mythics. I apologize for that.

    Is part of this spell fix talking about how the knockback from any spell that does deal knockback can make mobs go through blocks? It's a bit tedious fighting a boss 5 times due to all of Warrior's spells having a chance to make the boss get knocked back through a wall.

    You didn't mention the item nerfs that completely ruined meridian and nerfed the bobs mythic weapons.

    I really never had to. The most I've grinded is about 1-2 bars of xp (the little nudges)

    I wasn't aware about Meridian, but looking into it it was absolutely insane. 10 Mana regen for a level 23 rare? That was definitely OP as hell.

    Every class has a level 20ish 10 mana regen weapon and only meridian got nerfed. So how is it OP if every class had it? Now archer is UP cause it's the only one WITHOUT it!

    Not to mention that Meridian is absolute trash now.

    Why would you nerf them all if every class had them? Plus, I'm having a mental crisis now:

    Help Salted by telling him the items, but then be hated by the community cause I got the mana regen weapon set nerfed...

    I'm worried everyone will hate me now...

    I swear these weapons were intended to all have high mana regen because each class has one and the names support it

    Who even made these weapons because I SWEAR THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE REALLY GOOD MANA REGEN AND ONCE YOU NERF THE MANA REGEN THOSE WEAPONS BECOME TRASH BECAUSE THE MANA REGEN IS THE ONLY REDEEMING FACTOR

    @Salted concerning the patch notes (which is why this was made), I'm not asking for every little detail be put in like the meteor particles you just mentioned, just the actual item changes or things that affect the players directly, that we see. Lack of communication between devs, mods, and players can cause a great game to die. I love playing Wynncraft. It's the only reason I'm on MC anymore. As some have stated, when their entire build is focused around an item and it gets nerfed with no notes, it upsets them. I'm not upset about the needs as a whole, just the no patch notes. All is ask, and I know a lot of others would too, if you change an item, something that directly affects us or our builds, please just make a post on the forums saying what was changed and why. If an item is being nerfed, the dev team knows about it. I was upset and concerned as well. This is a fun server to be on, and communication between everyone is key to keep it alive. It may seen annoying to do, but just making a small ass post about visible changes goes a long way.

    Sorry for the salt, I do appreciate the server you and your team are running. And yes, we can be friends <3

    I agree 100% with the communication part, it is very important especially for a game of this size. Hopefully it can be positive communication at that, rather than just a simple "you sux" (not saying you said that, just using an example for previous posts)

    nah, i wouldnt say Salted sucks. Im grateful for the server and everything they've brought to us. But yea, communication, in any game really, is a necessity. I hope this server will last a long time and can have the 1000+ players on at any given time again
