Texture Pack Questions

Hello Wynncraft members,

I figured I could just email support, but I feel it would be more convenient just to ask the community. As I'm sure everyone knows, a resource pack has fairly recently been added to Wynncraft. However, my question is if there's any way not to use the texture pack (without constantly being spammed). I don't care about the textures being random blocks. I still know what things are. The reason I ask this is because without the texture pack, I run 200+ FPS. However, with it, I run an average of 16-17 FPS. I have absolutely no clue how to fix it or why the problem is occurring. It doesn't occur with other servers and their respective texture packs. I don't mean to make this as a "bitch thread" or whatever. I just want to know if there's a way to play without it, because honestly, I can't enjoy the Wynncraft I've played on for three years with it. :/

If you've already tried going to the server settings and disabling texture packs (

Click on the server (don't join) click "edit server" (or a button that's called something around those lines) and disable texture packs

) then I guess there's not a way to disable it, sorry m8.

 

Unless you want to be fighting with stairs and logs, Angels wielding Diorite, or random bricks, repeaters, comparators, and such strewn all around the place, not to mention being consistently spammed with messages telling you to get the resourcepack, then no. Have you tried playing it without the pack in the first place? It might not even be that.

 

Yes, of course I've tried playing without it. I get 200+ FPS (I use a GTX 750Ti). I don't lag without it whatsoever. I really don't care about the textures, personally. The only thing that bothers me is that message that constantly spams my chat. :/

 

Unfortunately there's no way to fix that. But sometimes I do wish that it didn't spam messages.
