Wynnpack Is Not Working?

I recently started Wynncraft, and found the texture pack will not work for me. After many fourm searches, I came up with a theory as to why that is, and possible fixes.

This seems to be mostly affecting MacBooks, with the occasional PC, and this theory revolves around having a outdated Minecraft Launcher, as PC users will get a pop-up at the top of their launcher HUD, requesting them to use the newer launcher that does not use Java, while MacBook users must download and use a new beta launcher, only compatible with 10.8 and up.

If you would like a Wynnpack to use manually, please ask me, and I will post one.

Possible fixes:

-Use the Wynncraft texture pack manually by downloading it off the internet

-Going into the Minecraft file, Server-Resource-Packs, changing the Wynnpack to a .zip File (Edit the name with .zip after it), and using the pack. I could not download the server resource pack at all, which, if you are having the same problem as me, requires you do the latter.

-Download the Beta launcher from Minecraft (Mac 10.8+), or update your Launcher (PC)
