Anybody Here Play Pixel Dungeon?

What the title says. For those of you who haven't heard of this game, it's a turn-based rougelike game, available on both mobile and PC. Also the code is open-source so there are some great mods.

For those of you who do play this, I guess this is the unofficial discussion thread. Talk about whatever you want.

 

Whenever I reach the final 5 levels, I forgot what they're called, I always have to zip through and not care about collecting items and stuff and go straight to the exit to avoid the Laser Eyes (they're so fucking annoying!) - this normal? Or should you be able to have enough equipment and health pots to thoroughly go through these levels at this point>

 

I have no idea, I haven't made it that far yet.
I've beaten the first boss on regular Pixel Dungeon, died at the first boss in Sprouted PD, and died in the Dwarven City levels in Shattered PD (easy mode).
I'm not very good at this game.

 

XD It's okay, you'll get there.
One tip, though: ALWAYS buy health pots. Always.

 

I have never made it to the shops except on Easy mode.

It's mostly based on luck :P
Once you know the ins and outs and what not to do you'll be fine. Maybe visit the wiki sometime.

 

I LOVE pixel dungeon, and for a while it was the only thing I would play. But every time I play I get stuck on floor ten against the, I dunno, 2nd boss, and die.
And also if your bad at it try Soft Pixel Dungeon on the app store, it allows save states and rarer loot.
