SPOILER Beyond The Grave Frustration....

Now most of you know if you do the Beyond The Grave quest you'll have to solve a puzzle to escape deaths realm. Now I got very, very, very frustrated. Not because I can't solve the puzzle (I love Puzzles )
Just because of how the puzzle is designed...

Now let's take a look at the puzzle. Simple puzzle, you just need to be able to press these letters in the right order: T-O-M-B-S-T-O-N-E



Perfect, no problem. The person who created this didn't think of one big thing that is known to Wynncraft (and many other servers): LAG

So this is what happens:
Me: "Carefully presses da button...

O
M
B
when suddenly: HOLY PEPPERONI IT GOES AT LIGHTNING SPEED!"

Me: "Nvm, don't rage, I can do this... Starts pressing buttons

Suddenly it goes very slow, I'll just watch out...

Edit: DID IT... After 45min of trying... The amount of times I wrote T-O-M-B-S-T-O-N and then failed were uncountable.

Then you fight boss...
Me: "sees it has 110k Health... Too tired for this shit... Pushes him in lava HIS WEAKNESS, it losses 15k health a sec. pushes him out lava. He has 2k health left. Meteor. I win. "

 

Took me over an hour to do it with lag (no joke)

 

Just type END and finish the quest./s

Did it first time and I have 250 ping pipe down.

 

Luckily, I'm pressing the button very very carefully ;3
(And in case you didn't know/did a typo, it's Tombstone, not Tombestone.)

Server lag, that's what matters, I don't know what bad ping causes.

 

Latency.

 

I've had the exact same problem, actually doing it for over an hour. The "puzzle" as they call it, is more of a badly designed minigame. It's frustrating because 90% of the players on the server has lag problems. I think they should change it or remove it.

 

Well the changing of ticks is server lag, and you having issues with latency is bad ping. Btw I knew what bad ping causes I have it too some times xD I prefer bad ping though.

 

This puzzle was slowed down to compensate for this over a week ago on build, but the servers have yet to push out the update. Hopefully when Jumla comes out of his hidey hole it will be fixed.

an hour later it worked perfectly
quest xp gave me a heartattack honestly. I need to farm 2 and a half levels for a new quest... hooray

 

with 260 ms i did it in 5 min

Wait, so what happened after that?

Did you still have to escape Death's ugly realm? Did you not have to fight that weak mob? Did you actually lose one level?

Or did you get the XP from the quest, plus the xp required for one more level, that was then taken away for comical reasons?

It's just a thing in chat. Nothing actually happens and you have to do it the tombstone way.
