How Do I Get Likes?

Hey Everyone!! I was trying hard to get likes :D but it did not work D: no matter what I did. First I tried posting tones of interesting threads, didn't work very well. Then I tried doing pixel arts for people, people were happy but they didn't like it enough to like it D: Mr Sebbelonien said he would give a shout out but of course I am not the guy who would get a shoutout and barley anyone knows me enough to be on an good (my 2nd favourite) youtubers channel :( So that is why this thread exists. So, does anyone know any tips to get a lot of likes??? Thank you all btw.

Make lots of art threads, be quirky, and try and say the funniest thing at the most innapropriate times.

Please, don't.
Likes aren't as important as you might think. Don't post good content in order to get likes, do it because you really believe in what you do.

Then What Does?

 

Be helpful, make jokes, be active, make friends in game
If you're good at something, say artwork or something like that, post stuff in your work
I'm too lazy to do any of these things hence my crappy post to like ratio
Oh right also stay out of trade market

Then there's me, like 1.8 thousand posts in trade market

Francis is right, likes don't mean much, they do mean that your content appeals to a lot of people.
But hey, look at me, if you want likes you are going on an endless chase.

art threads are threads that you post your art on, for some reason people think they generate a lot of likes but they are wrong request threads generate likes, art threads aren't really worth it (Thanks to the wipe I saw how many lines I got from threads and posts on threads, the total was less than a third of my likes (900). Point is, you get more likes by being an active community member than from anything else).

 

Of course, you gotta be active in places that aren't trade market.

 

Quality content reccomended, not required.

 

It's not because a member has been for a long time, it's because he is active. In just five months I had 700 messages and 800 likes
