Hey there! If you happen to be a member of the Content team, I have a neat little survey

here for you to fill out for me! Please keep in mind that this survey is optional, and is

meant to fill us (the members of Wynncraft) in on your experience as part of the Content

team. If you can, please take your time and explain as much as you can for each

question. There are three separate surveys for Moderator, Builder, and GM. Also, if the

Administrators are interested in filling out a quick survey I will leave one below for you.

Im kinda unsure, i make alot of minor stuff around the map ex: vines, caves, etc. probably one of my bigger builds gotta be the camp from fallen delievery, and some orc camp located somewhere in the canyon of the lost
4. Have real life priorities ever prevented you from doing your job as a Builder (ex.
school, job, family)?
Not really, i was even active during a vacation
5. What do you like the most about your job as a Builder?
im kinda unsure what to answer on this one, i love being able to work together as a build team with so many people, the map is within my style of building and i really like that. i kinda just like everything about the build server ... i take that back, bank squad is a thing
6. On a scale of one to ten how hard is it to be a Builder?
it actually really depends, i would personally say 3/10, its not that hard. but sometimes it can be stressing
7. Out of all the builds you have created, which build gets the most attention from the players of Wynncraft?
My builds arent really noticeable, i made alot of minor caves around the map, a bunch of easter eggs, a relic, a few bandit camps (fallen delievery and another one) paths, Sky islands (2), Lightning (making darker caves brighter, by adding light sources)
8. Do you focus more on building or more on playing on Wynncraft?
pre-gavel i was alot more active on build then main, after gavel i have been spending alot of time ingame, i mean i still get work done. but im taking more time to just play
9. What is your favorite thing about Wynncraft?
being able to help make it
10. Will you ever quit your job as a Builder for Wynncraft? Why?
I dont really have any plans on quitting anytime soon. im not busy with irl stuff, and i do enjoy it. why would i quit?

1. How long have you been a Moderator?
Looking back at old Skype conversations, I have in fact been a moderator for a year as of January 22 or 23, which is obviously coming up soon.
2. As a Moderator, how have you contributed to Wynncraft?
As a mod, I have contributed in as much as I have stalked hackers and banned their sorry buns, as well as have dealt with tons of appeals. It takes a lot out of you to have to listen to the same lie over and over again about how "my cousin got on my account and used hacks"... You'd be surprised how many people think this would work.
3. What would you say is your greatest contribution to Wynncraft?
My greatest contribution to Wynncraft would have to be my involvement in the Wynn Province revamp, where I did most of my work. The fruits of my labors have been rewarded with the charming town of Rymek, so I am content.
4. Have real life priorities ever prevented you from doing your job as a Moderator (ex.
school, job, family)?
In short - not really. I have never been one to be overly occupied with too much as to where I have no time to have fun and do moderation work. If I am ever "prevented" from doing this job, it is simply out of laziness or my being interested in another server/game for the time being.
5. What do you like the most about being a Moderator?
I know it seems childish; but, the part I like most about being a mod is the attention. This helps incredibly in getting players to listen to you and to keep control in situations when need be. It also simply makes you more noticed (with the beautiful orange name 'haha'), which is always a plus.
6. On a scale of one to ten, how hard is it to be a Moderator?
Really, you do not need an insane amount of dedication to be a moderator. You get on, have fun, ban people, get off, do appeals, and 'bam' you are done. In this way, the difficulty level is certainly less than 5. I cannot put an exact number on it.
7. State one problem you solved to benefit the needs of Wynncraft and its players.
One time I dealt with some kid that had tons of alternate accounts connected to his main one who threatened to take revenge using each and every one of them... If that is not helping solve what could have become a huge problem, I do not know what is.
8. Do you focus more on your job as a Moderator or more on playing Wynncraft?
Since Gavel has come out, I focus a lot on playing Wynncraft and slightly less as a moderator than before the update. This does not mean that the amount of work I do as a mod has changed incredibly - it just means that before the update, all I did was moderate without actually playing the game, and now I do play it.
9. What is your favorite thing about Wynncraft?
My favorite thing about Wynncraft is the quests. I know perhaps you may have expected me to comment on the builds, considering I am a builder; however, I believe that is what gives Wynn its appeal. The beauty of the map is far exceeded by the quality of the myriads of fun and interesting quests spread throughout the provinces.
10. Do you know if you will ever resign from being a Moderator? Why?
Honestly, I do not see myself resigning from being a moderator in the near future. I may perhaps take some time off every once in a while just like all other members of the staff team, but in the end, it is always nice to know you will be welcomed back happily to continue keeping the server safe and fun to play on for everyone.

1. How long have you been a Builder?
I believe it's been ~18 Months currently.

2. As a Builder, how have you contributed to Wynncraft?
Helping GMs make their quests come to reality through builds, adding both filler and important builds, (filler being random caves, houses, farms, trees etc. Important builds are Towns for example.)

3. What would you say is your greatest build that you created for Wynncraft?
Probably Thesead. I really like how that turned out. Credits to @Headset_O for the style though.

4. Have real life priorities ever prevented you from doing your job as a Builder (ex.
school, job, family)?
Yes. During my previous school year, I was too busy with Building, since I wanted Gavel to release, that I kind of forgot about the whole 'school' thing.
Let's just say I barely passed that year. And now, since this year is even harder, I have to put school as my priority, sadly. This is why I haven't built anything the last 2 weeks. (Ugh, test weeks amirite?)

5. What do you like the most about your job as a Builder?
The fact that I can help. I've seen lots of people 'Hey, how can I be a builder, I wanna be popular too!'. But that's not what Grian is looking for in Builders. (Or GMs for that matter) He wants people that can actually do stuff for him, and wants to build to help WC, and an example of that is me. And I appreciate the fact that he let me help.

6. On a scale of one to ten how hard is it to be a Builder?
I must say... Even though #BuilderMasterRace The GMs job is way, way harder. A GM is working alone on the quest, and is given a deadline. (Even though every GM is a volunteer) If a Builders can't do something because of irl stuff for example, someone else will just do it. We don't have deadlines, we don't run against unexpected issues. All you need to be a Builder is being decent at building, have the will to help, and be online decently often.
I would say 3/10.

7. Out of all the builds you have created, which build gets the most attention from the players of Wynncraft?
The Towns probably, But that's for everyone (everyone who built a town at least) Maybe Ozoth too? Oh, probably the ??? Quest.

8. Do you focus more on building or more on playing on Wynncraft?
I used to build during all of my spare time, because Gavel wasn't out and I already had 2 75s, but now I'm always on the main server.

9. What is your favorite thing about Wynncraft?
The Community. It's not toxic at all, and I love it <3

10. Will you ever quit your job as a Builder for Wynncraft? Why?
Well, Yes. One day. Everyone will move on at some point.

Well I made that big cave in the sky islands. And the temple on top of that. No one knows? ;w; i cri ebritim
I also made the big underground thingy in the Desert (look for it ;) hue)

Uh yeah of course sometimes internet and sometimes school.

Uhm. Well its a nice server and its fun to build with friendly builders.

Hard to say, coz I'm in Kangronomicon and we do wars a lot, but since wars are broken I build instead.

Not really any plans about quitting sooooooo...

 

Despite being a Hybrid, I feel like my main contributions have been parts of the GM work.

1. How long have you been a GM?
I have been a GM since about June 2015, but joined the Content Team in March/February 2015.

2. As a GM, how have you contributed to Wynncraft?
I have produced the quests Flight in Distress and Acquiring Credentials (which was the first quest of mine!).

3. State your biggest contribution as a GM.
I'd assume my biggest contribution is my quests, Flight in Distress being the better one ;D

4. Have real life priorities ever prevented you from doing your job as a GM (ex.
school, job, family)?
I have felt like this several times, and general life things do get in the way. I am glad with I've done so far, though!

5. For you, what is the best thing about being a GM?
The best thing must be that I am actually contributing to the best server in Minecraft today!

6. On a scale of one to ten how hard is it to be a GM?
I'd say it is incredibly tough to be a good GM (seeing as I am not a good GM, either), because you need to be good at all parts of the job in order to be a "Good GM".
I'd say 10/10 in the level of difficulty.

7. What skills do you think are required to qualify for a spot as a GM?
Most people think that creativity is the main part, which it is not, really. The most important traits you will need is being able to manage builders and executing very boring tasks with a smile on your face.

8. Do you focus more on playing Wynncraft or more serving as a GM?
I rarely play the actual game, since I've been overwhelmed with GM/Builder work!

9. What is your favorite thing about Wynncraft?
Everything. It's unique, and it succeeded with something no one else could succeed with.

10. Have you ever considered resigning from serving as a GM?
No, I will never resign. I, however, work when it fits me from now on ;D

I help people build'/make quests and help add content to the map

Probably Ahmsord. But I only built around 80% of it.

Sometimes I do, but I try to get in as much building time as possible

Probably being able to talk with the build team and building quests

Its not very hard if your good. So I would say a 5

Okay I've only been a mod for a month so I'll just do the GM survey.


1. How long have you been a GM?

Over a year now.

2. As a GM, how have you contributed to Wynncraft?

I've made 1/5 of the quests in Gavel, also did one in Wynn, and I worked on the new King's Recruit. I also did pretty much every loot chest in the areas from level 80-100. And I now do items too, some of them are in-game.

3. State your biggest contribution as a GM.

Memory Paranoia.

4. Have real life priorities ever prevented you from doing your job as a GM (ex. school, job, family)?

I don't have a real life.

5. For you, what is the best thing about being a GM?

Grian's love.

I must say Thesead is by far my favorite town. Mostly because it's a peaceful town in a mountain range.
