Question On Mod

Ok, so I had a little question. We all know how to sign up for Builder or GM, that part is plain obvious. It's in the rules and info section.


But what about moderator? Like a forums moderator or something? Is there any way to specificly sign up for that? Or is it just random (Random would explain quite a lot)? Or do the existing guys pick new ones? Or what?

If there is a thread, could someone give a link?

 

They get chosen, and asking reduces your chances dramatically

Well what we do is we blindfold Grian and release a bunch of pigeons with names on their feet. After this Grian throws baby cows (his and salted's children) at the pigeons, the ones that get hit are blacklisted. Then the remaining ones try to survive for a day while the moderators go on a hunt for them. The surviving ones are chosen, well the names from the surviving ones. True fact on how we pick mods.

We recommend potential Moderators to the other Moderators, and discuss. Then Grian chooses the new Moderators that he believes have good potential, and they are put on trial. After a week or so, if they haven't stuffed up, they become full-time Moderators.

Well, that's kinda untrue. Depends how long ago you were banned, and what for.

You implied it. And asking doesn't reduce your chances, usually. Being rude to people does. ;P
