SPOILER [not Clickbait] New Quest??

I don't remember doing a quest called Two Towers...
and that item though o.O.

Also has anyone seen a flashstep. It's a boot with a nice walk speed so if you have it can I buy it?

 

Its probably from a quest that got removed. Not entirely sure, though.

And I just noticed that the name of the item is related to an event that happened on 9/11 that involves two towers as well.

Oh I know which area it involves. Grian stated something about a burning village, and the two towers next to it were destroyed. VERY likely that was the quest, but it was either removed or isn't added in yet.

 

That is true, Two Towers has either not been released yet, or was scrapped in the making, and this is a relic of it.

I thought it was referring to the book by Tolkien... ;:-:;

Talking about other quests, the one with the Stone Tablets was a removed quest, and on Salted's "The Making Of The Item System", he shows a helmet with quest requirement "Hot Head". This hasn't been played yet, so it also is soon to come, or not at all.

Also, I have seen evidence of quests to come in Rodoroc and Dogovi. There are burning buildings, runaway golems, Unstable Sparks, and many of the coal loading zones that I think we will be using a lot in times to come.

 

It is a work-in-progress quest as far as I know of.

It's a reward from the quest "The Qira Hive". It's untradable; if you want it, you'll need to go through the Hive yourself.

That's not exactly the whole story. Two Towers was a quest way back in the olden days. It's a complicated story but that's why these boots have that quest requirement.

Hadn't even looked at the item, for some reason my mind just told me they were boots.

 

I'd just like to point out the correlation between the name and the quest. Again.

That confuses me, cause in the quest with the Guardian of the Forest, he directly mentions "the Two Towers" I've seen 2 ruined towers on the verge of Decay, so I assume thats the location of the quest. Also that same area looks like a small village with a Dampé Zelda style graveyard.

 

I think you're at the right place...? All I can say for certain is that the towers tell a story of their own, whether or not their lore will actually be explained in-depth in the future.
