SPOILER What Is The Name Of Our Realm?

we know of 4 provinces , dern fruma gavel and wynn
and we know of a few realms as well , the light realm for example
but how is the realm we live in called?

 

Nothing, it's the real world.

Like for example, you wouldn't say 'The Overworld Realm,' you would just say 'The Overworld.'
You would say, however, 'The Nether Realm' but can also say 'The Nether.'

 

As Glitch said, we don't live in a realm.

 

Wynn has the nether realm
Gavel has the light realm
Dern has the (dark realm?)
And fruma is a place full of wonder and corpses

 

All of these are correct. I have just one question. What do we call the overall world? The continent containing all of Wynn, Gavel, Dern, Fruma, Corkus, and whatever other builds the content team wishes to add on. I've always called it Wynn, but that is like calling Earth 'America' or 'Europe'. I don't recall ever seeing a name for this universe, and I am really frustrated by the lack of it.

 

In Minecraft and many other games, it's "The Overworld". A name might be added in the Storyline, but who knows?

 

Why does everybody seem to think that we live in the "real world?" Is the Realm of Light not real? Personally, I believe that we live in a Realm. I don't know the name of it, but we don't have to be self-centered and believe that we begin in the main realm. For all we know we are just smudge on a map compared to others. My point is, let's not jump to conclusions. Nothing is certain, unless we positive proof. Take the Ancients. Where did they come from? Were they always here? Did they come from another Realm? We simply don't know. And until we do, saying that we live in main world, is simply not able to be proven.

Fruma is plagued with something terrible: pollution and global warming

 

Because there is only one continent it doesn't need a name because you don't need to differentiate between it and other continents.

 

Do the Light and potential Dark realms have a direct link you can go through between them, or do you have to go through the overworld to get to them?

If so, then the Overworld acts as the gateway between realms more than it does the "Main area" that stuff happens in - this Overworld is simply the battleground upon which both sides can fight, a no-man's-land of sorts.

If not, it is simply another point in the web of realms, and is no more significant than any other realm. Either way, the Overworld wouldn't be considered the main realm.

 

Um... Not sure if this helps much because I just randomly heard it somewhere and forgot where I heard it on the forums, but some guy said that in a quest, he heard some NPC (no I don't mean villager, I think.) reference this plane as earth.

 

In the light realm i found an npc. It said something like this "I wish I could visit the wonderful world of Drooned. But i cannot because I am inprisioned in this cell." I think Drooned is a pretty cool name for wynncraft.

It's the 'real world' because it is the main way to access all these other realms, like a hub. There are currently no ways explained in lore that allow direct travel between these other realms.

They are all real, though, so what we mean is the 'main world'/'main realm'.

Again, why do you assume we live in the "main Realm?" While we have no proof other Realms exist, I would hardly be surprised if they do. As I said earlier, we have no idea if there are any other Realms. For all we know, we could be a minuscule piece to a massive web of other Realms.

I feel like the lore is:

Timelines have been distorted and everyone is being teleported to different worlds, the protagonist in Wynn dreamed about being a hero who either has the spells of Wind, Fire, Thunder, Earth or Water. One day, the teenager was playing a game called Wynncraft and hands came out from his computer screen and pulled him into the game


This my friends, is the true lore of Wynn
