Hello, and thank you for stopping by to read this issue of The WynnWide Tribune!
(This is the second edition, since the first draft didn't get saved for some reason.)

EDIT: Thread had an issue where multiple spoilers appeared, cutting off the text, though I didn't put any in, strangely enough. This should be fixed now.

Missed the previous issue? Check it out now!

    The Community Voice:

For each of our Community Voice segments, we interview members of the WynnCraft community and ask them questions, in which they give a response that will be shared on this segment. This issue's question asked:
"If you had the power to change, remove, or add any single thing about the Gavel Update, what would you do?"

    From @No-one

"I'd edit the sprinting mechanic to stop using mana, the fact that multishot mobs have a high firerate in Qira hive. I'd balance out the classes rather than always making one class better than the others. At first it was Assassin being the most overpowered class, they nerfed it a bit and it became more balanced. Then when Gavel came out, Mage was already built for the new health system with their heal spell, giving Mages any more buffs were just unfair and made this possibly the most unbalanced update so far."

    From @Vezzy

    More Low Level Replayability.

"I enjoy Wynncraft's low levels (1-40, is what I'm saying) a lot more than what it was before, however, I still feel like this level gap lacks replay-ability. The lower levels have been much improved on, with a few niches here and there in this level gap and even a ton of new items too. Hell, the start of the game was completely changed, and it was much better at introducing the game's physics rather than the old one. Even then, however, I still get the feeling of how it was in the old way. What I mean to say is that there's not really many new places to explore, barely any if none new quests. Speaking of quests, shouldn't those be given cinematics as well as some other Gavel quests I've heard of? It would certainly brush up the quality.

All in all, I feel like these changes would make it so that "These are the low levels, we changed a lot and it's quite new" rather than "These are the low levels, we changed some but some still feels the same."

This is obviously what I'm looking for with the third next update, since they may need to take out a lot of bugs and they have to powders and the storyline."

    From @ajdude9

"I'd add in some new elemental properties / change how elements work. The new elements are nice, but they only seem to affect the stats of weapons and armour. It'd be nice if we could gain some special powerups or skills when we've gotten enough points into a certain Element Skill, or have enough of an armour related to an element on. An example could be to create an earthquake around you when you take fall damage as an Earth Element user, or gain Fire Resistance as a Fire Element User."

    and finally, from @Riesenpaikalmar

"I'd like to see some more Donator benefits such as the ability to dye armor or rocket and punch in the lobby, which were promised features for almost a year now."

    Mythical Gear Database:

Created by @_TheNinja_ , the Mythical Gear Database thread was made to keep track of all items of a specific tier rarer than Legendary, supposedly with a 1 in a million chance of spawning. These aren't Bob's Mythics, but rather a new tier of gear altogether that sets it apart by having the rarest find rate, insane identifications and statistics, as well as most needing a very high amount of skill points and requirements to be able to be usable.

Here is an example of a mythic tier item:

The Secrets of Gale and Ohms:

Gale. Ohms. Chances are, if you're a high-leveled class who has done Qira or identified a couple of weapons, you'll have noticed at least one of these names. It turns out that there may be a hidden story told about the two, discoverable by exploring parts of the Gavel Province and searching for clues. Not much is currently known, but WynnCraft moderator Selvut has created an official thread to catalogue what is currently known about them. Theories are encouraged!

Kronos, and the Mystery of the Clocks:

You have probably seen a "clock" entity during your adventurous exploits in Gavel. Do they serve a purpose? They are marked as untradeable, which must means they have a purpose... right?

In fact, these are part of a non-quest-related (Sorry, no ??? here!) side adventure that will take you around the Gavel province, stumbling across many mini-bosses until you meet the big guns, Kronos and the Three Fates [from Greek mythology; Kronos is the Titan of Time, and the Fates 'weave' each person's destiny]. In the Cinfras Guild Hall, there is a clock merchant selling Clock gear (Set Items; around level 80), in exchange for the eight golden clocks. If you would like to try and figure this all out for yourself without any more spoilage, go right ahead! However, if you find that you need help, or just want to get the straightaway solution, visit this thread.
