Guide Gate To Ancient Rodoroc

This will be a guide on how to get to the gate of ancient Rodoroc. The gate has not opened yet, I expect that to happen in the next quest update. Anyway, lets get started.

Spoiler: Warning: Lots of Pictures

You will need: 1EB, 1 Bone Meal, 1 Demonic Ashes, 1 Blaze Powder, and 1 Mashed Insect.​

First you have to get to Rodoroc Mines. To get there, you go to Rodoroc, then, go to the back left corner where the entrance to the mines is.



There is a platform to the left, go up there and press the button on it.



A TNT will spawn and blow a hole through that big door. Go through the whole, and this is what you will see.



Go straight ahead, and you will see the high kings grave, with a quartz slab on it.



Drop 1EB on it, and look at the other graves. The now have items in the item frames under them, and the graves will open. There are beds in the graves. Drop the items that I said you needed earlier on their corresponding graves. The high king's grave will open now, jump down and follow the path. You will find yourself at this place.



Once you are there, go through that room, and take a right. Keep going, and you will find a broken door. (the other side also has a door, but it is still intact)



Go through the door and the passage way behind it. Congratulations, you have reached your destination.

Gosh darnit ye secret-hunting mongrels, stop dwelling and violating the halls that i've spent hours building, go try to finish ??? rather than just getting to a senseless easter egg, I just can't, no I'm done, this should have not been discovered by now, darn it Cubie why did you tag me for fudge's sake, GOSH DARN IT. Are you responsible for the clock thing we found a while ago?

 

Nooooo, maybe, I don't know what clock thing, if it's a typical redstone clock it wasn't me, if it's that weird clock about some weird quest then maybe but I'm not sure, don't ask me, I'm not giving any hints, I simply don't do that, no I don't.

There's a lot of lore hidden there... I wonder if they'll ever do something with it though.

 

Maybe, I don't know, there's no quest concept behind it, no there isn't, I guarantee you that it isn't, no, give up on hopes not happening, I won't guarantee that it is not happening but it won't happen, simply can't, relax, don't look at this easter egg/secret, ignore it, don't try to search for more information there's none there or anywhere, you can search but you will waste time, don't even search, you've been warned, thank you.

 

The one that involves the clock set? I've already solved it.

I found all the clocks legit first.

@Lotem was responsible for a big part of that easter egg. In collaboration with other gm's/builders

 

It was basically like this:
Gri had the clock bosses idea,
I suggested the idea with the clocks in cities, then I choose the locations for them and built the redstone for the clock doors (and you have no idea how long it took me to make all those doors ._.)
And then bankisan made the mobs and shit.

Some others helped with making the builds and the clock merchant room, but ye..

 

Me and a friend found this a while ago,pretty cool Easter egg thou.We wasted tons of EB cause we weren't looking at the item frames lol

I loved those doors! The particles made it feel special with each door I opened.
