1.9 introduces a Boss Bar Packet, so this will be fixed then :D

 

Then how do servers like Mineplex have the boss bar visible at all times?

 

Cause they are using enderdragons wich are visible to all players near.

 

And I'm assuming that we can't use Ender Dragons because each player needs a different bar and they would lag the server dispite being 837584 blocks underground?

 

Guys the difference between Wynn and other servers is that the Boss Bar is personalized to what guild you're in and where you are. This is why they can just plop an Ender dragon below everyone while Wynn needs individualized Withers.

You cannot escape me when I run towards you. When you go to the Dark Forest, I will hunt you to the Deepest Taproot and to the withering dungeons.

I am always watching, waiting. When you go into the deepest parts of the decay, I will drag you into the nightmarish darkness.

I am the Devourer. You will never escape me. I will always be less than 30 paces behind you, slowly closing the gap, patiently. I will follow you to Wynn, Dern, Fruma, other Realms, everywhere.

Do not try to hide. Fight me and die, or run in fear. There is nowhere to hide.
