I think putting string ontop of the saplings prevents growth, but im not sure.

I had an suggestion/theory for the possible backstory of the Coconut Crustaceans and such and also, there is a type of hostile fish in the water called Tanned Sunfish. They 1 hit me, because I'm only level 19, They appear in the form of Raw Salmon. Now here's the theory: Maybe the retired buccaneer was one of the many pirates around Bremminglar/Nemract areas and destroyed opposing ships and had many of his fellow crew members cursed. There are Cursed Pirates along the coast by Bremminglar and farther off near the Buccaneer's sandcastle, there is a big cave stuffed full of Cursed Pirates and Captain Norom beard mini-boss. Maybe the buccaneer's ship captain and entire crew found an ancient and corrupted treasure and were cursed forever... Then maybe the Retired Buccaneer took all the remaining treasure, retired, was pardoned and made his way into a peaceful tropical region with a boat merchant as his best friend and partner. Then maybe they found their own beach area and settled there, most likely after fighting passed the coconut crustaceans, cursed pirates, shipwrecked men, pyranhas, seagulls, and tanned sunfish and finally made their own sand castle to stay with their treasure. That is my theory connecting with the many mobs and hidden mini-bosses found along the coast. I think the coconut crustaceans are based off of coconut crabs and Tanned sunfish I think are a really big species of tropical fish/sunfish.

 

I wish the answers to our questions about these strange locations and mobs could be revealed, or would we have to find them ourselves?

Does these mobs ring a bell? Before gavel was released. They were called Drowned Sailor until now, even the Hurricane mobs were removed. I wonder what these mobs are for and why?

Also MarkedForDeath, I am only lvl 21 so I think it is best that you investigate this weird island with weirds mobs and history. And what is sarnfic?
Also, I do not know how to use coords so, on the coast of gavel, where aldorei elves and horses spawn, head south down to a small island and you'll be greeted by hostile lvl 63 Drowned Sarnfic Citizens, also please investigate this place and post some images on it.

Sarnfic is a sunken city that owned a certain pair of boots called the Abysso Galoshes. They have dark power so the mages from Mage Island had to sink the city.

 

I don't know how to use coords, where are the feral goats located in reference to other places or directions?

Oh, I'm stupid, didn't realize that there was a Spoiler thing.

 

Actually, the filthy pirate (Javier) that stole the boots from the manor in the jungle, and he hid them in sarnfic, Why did it have to be Sarnfic... what a waste of town... those evil boots have been through a lot, they were first in possesion of bob, who gave them to the manor, the pirate Javier stoll them and hid them in sarnfic, which caused the town to be banned ): you get the boots and turn them into there rightful owner, the manor. since bob died.

 

I hope this isn't considered a necrobump, and I'm sure you've probably found this already, but I might as well add it here since it hasn't been added yet. Sadly, there is no loot contained in here, and there is no wiki entry on the cave. It seems to serve no purpose other than to be beautiful, and secret. It's located at X: -401, Z: -3077.

This is what the entrance to the cave looks like.

Once inside, you're welcomed with a beautiful sight.

The cave branches off in several directions, but not for very far. It all loops around to the same point.

All the tunnels lead to this one little area... could someone have been living here?

Looks like this was probably used as a source of food. But for who?

Hay? Did someone have a horse down here?? How did you get a horse in the middle of an ocean?

A house! There are books everywhere! But who lived here? When? Did they abandon the house, or did they perish?
