Just Noticed

I just notices that there happen to be 2 weapons that reference Dern.

Both are rare spears

One is called Dern's Shadow the other is called Dern's Desolation

Does anyone have these spears? If so, could I see the damage and IDs?

Can't help but to notice that both spears have poison and mana regen. Specifically the poison...

 

Gavel is a place of magic, there are a couple of wands referencing Gavel
Dern is probably a place of might and power (according to the fact they are referenced by the warrior)
I'd say Wynn is the province for the assassin and Fruma is for the archer

Could be. I always thought of Wynn being warrior, but your logic makes sense.

I get the idea that Dern is a place of shadows and darkness, which I feel suits the assassin class better.

 

I think so too. But only spears show up. (btw both spears are legendary).

Also look at the name of them. Dern's Shadow. Dern's Desolation. Any doubt that Dern is dark should now be gone...

Before you make w theory about this you might want to know that the admins have previously said (can't remember where) that they do simply put in references to games or places because why not. Such as the Diablo, kelights toothbrush, Detlas legacy, almuj walkers, ragnis mail, and so on

 

I am aware of that. However, all those things have reasons. For example, Statue legit makes you like a statue. If I have learned anything from theorizing on Wynn, its that the Devs ALWAYS have a reason.

If I did not learn that from when I first said logic was flawed in Wynn, then I did not learn anything...

For example the Almuj walkers. Almuj is one of the richest cities. The boots have both stealing and loot bonus.

Amulet of the necromancer. -health and mana regen. Plus health and mana steal. Taking life from your foes.

Charm of the leech. Plus 25 life steal

Charm of the tick. Plus 10 life steal and poison

 

I have the Dern's Desolation that you can have, but since the item guide exists I'm not sure you need it

 

Some things are not on the guide. Lucky for us, Dern's Desolation is. I thank you for your offer, but I think I am fine.

 

Both spears have poison and regen, possibly Dern's "darkness" heals those who harness it, and kills off those who oppose it.
