If you've played wynncraft before the gavel update you would know there was a rare item set called "Nether armor"

It was an old special set that got removed in the 1.11 update (ocean update) because the nether got remade into a pvp arena.

Over time its value grew large, every man who could afford buying a set like that unid'd and unenchanted was considerd as a richy rich person! its cost was about 20 stacks of le for a "pure clean" set!!!

Alot of the armor sets just got resold over and over by different people each time for a higher price!

And than... gavel happend...

and with it, the return of the nether armor...

take a moment...

to think about...

how much le... was basicly gone because of the return of the nether armor...

The people who could afford the armor set before his update were probably already billionaires. I don't think it matters that much if they lose a few stacks of LE.

 

I am actually happy to see that you high-rollers emptied your pockets, for something near useless, that was an antique.

i was alwase proud of my achievement of getting a pure clean nether set for below 1 stack of le (which was SUPER LOW when it was rare)...
this post was made for the other people that bought these things for 16 stacks each and i meen its really sad

The LE isnt gone, another player have it. Maybe you should ask if you can get 20 stacks of le back?

 

I remember I s̶c̶a̶m̶m̶e̶d̶ traded GoodVibes for his dirty set of nether Armour when that was something (I gave him adventure Armour for it) years ago... good times (plz dont hate me vibes)

 

Stuff like this happens all the time. An example I can give is with transformers. Generation 1 toys can go for hundreds (sometimes thousands depending on the figure), overtime, reproductions have been made of many of the figures. Sometimes this lowers the cost of the original figures, sometimes it doesn't. Though what it does do is make it available to a wider audience, and leave the person with the a original with a bit of pride. That person did everything they could to get that old toy, and never settled for less.
Don't look at it as being ripped off. Yes they are avalible to more people, yes you spent a lot on that armorat the time, but you had it first, and you where happy. You have something very few can say they had before the update. It's a symbol of wealth, and dedication to the server and its players, and you should take pride in that.

 

Where can you find nether armor now? in the Nether? pls tell me

 

I think you can find it in the Volcano Islands but I'm not sure.

 

I'm pretty sure new nether armour is different from old nether armour.

 

Nether Blazes and Nether Gods drop it occasionally.

 

better get my hands on some and sell them to people who don't go on the forums

 

I'm glad that although I paid 10 stacks for my clean set it was so long ago that it doesn't matter :p every valuable pre-eula rare + 11 stax still sitting in bank rn. (Only 11 or was it 12? :c too bored to get more)

 

Same happened with Adventure armour, but what sucks is that I still have 3 sets of clean adventure armour... Anyone want to buy it...?
