Whos Is Bak'al?

I hear so much talk about Bak'al and the main quest line that is coming. But I feel dumb for not knowing who he is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.... So, can I get an explanation?

 

By looking at the text in the gavel trailer, the leader of the horde or something like that.

 

This is a very rough theory, but he might be the boss of Gavel, just like Bob is the boss of Wynn.
Besides that I also think Nilrem is the boss but that is very off (since Gavel is magic n stuff).

 

I know, I also saw a cutscene where Bak'al bodyslammed some barrier in the trailer. Some guy named Ragnar was there. And it was in Ragni...

Actually the CoW is supposed to be the boss. Bob was meant to be a bonus boss, the main story-oriented final boss was the CoW. Amadel is the boss introducing the character of some Gavel quests.

 

But what is the worm thing?

I was wondering that too. Probably something planned to use custom textures in boss fights, but was obviously never added. Or could possibly be coming... Soon™

The Grootslang. The Worm Holes quest gives you access to the Grootslang cave, which isn't implemented yet.
