Let's Theorize About The Main Questline We're Getting

In the Gavel teaser, we saw rebel commander Ba'al fighting the player in Ragni. Now this guy's supposed to be dead. In the Gavel update, the Door of Time was opened but you can't enter it.

I think that through some time-travelling incident Ba'al's death is prevented and the rebellion against the authorities of Wynn continues and grows, and we might have to pick sides and witness the destruction of towns and murder of kings.

Nevermind all of this, I found out the character seen in the trailer is Bak'al. Someone thought it was a good idea to name one character Ba'al and another Bak'al.

Tell me what you think people.

So, you have summoned the glorious hawk. I'll tell you what I think. Now I have not exactly seen the trailer you are talking about (well I have, I just don't remember it).

The thing about ba'al is he tried to madi my take down the government of Wynn, but we did not care that much. We saw it as a side quest.

We saw a group of archeologists as a bigger threat.

And on top of that, we legit had 2 armies ask us to take ba'al down. Nemeract and Almuj.

Not what happens when we beat the quest. The admiral guy gets a medal.. But no just any, the highest medal you can give, the freaking Medal of Honor!

Now, what about the door of time. Now I don't want to sound super sappy, but I feel like Nilrem is involved again. I don't know why, I just feel like it is correct.

So. Time travel. Interesting, ain't it. The stuff of time valley is called the strongest magic in Wynn. And it resonates from that door. If we are gonna go back in time, that door definitely has the power.

Both of us were wrong. The guy in Almuj is Ba'al, and this guy is Bak'al.

Wait wait what what? Bak'al? This changes everything.

This is like the laviathen story.

In the laviathen story, the laviathen was so strong God had to come down from heaven to kill it. From what I can see in the chat in your pic, bak'al is unbeatable. The main religion is the bovemists, and salted as their God.

In the chat in the pic it looks like t says "I am salted, you God. I will take it from here"

But that's what I think from that pic. So yeah, no continuation. I will come back to you marked probobly tomarrow for a different reason.

The picture that they posted just says "n, Salted" Which doesn't mean that Salted is a "God" it means that Salted is watching this cutscene.

I also think that this is just a test cutscene to test the abilities of them and what they can do. Because so far if that was a quest, we would be able to play it because it looks like it would be completed.

Honestly, I can't wait for this questline. I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!!

 

You seem to forget that WynnExcavation was sent by the "higher powers of Gavel", who we know 0% about. I think this upcoming quest will be about the Decay, which I'm suspecting may be coming from Dern, (compare Dead Island to the Olux Swamps) being used by the Higher Ups of Gavel, to control Gavel, and eventually Wynn. They might be doing a whole "rely on us" kind of method with their people, with the Elf Sun Illuminati being the only ones apperent of this.
-Getting a cult together to enslave Lexdale (and try to summon another god-like demon)
-Getting Ozoth the Dragon to attack the dwarves (it apperently happened out of the blue)
-sending Llevigar soldiers to "fight the greenskins" (even tho the front line soldiers of both parties don't want to fight any more)[hopefully the treaty with the orc chief did a thing)
--also, any of the two sides who don't fight get harassed and ignored for help (Bigfoot attacks, Sherk's swamp)
--- Sherk's swamp also reminds me that the princess who was turned into powder might be able to do something to save Gavel
-setting up a "guard post" to "stop" the Gerts (possibly starting up a second Gavel war)
-In Death's Mansion, Lord Dullahan's hourglass is with significant others', like Bob (Robert), Sayleros' Brother, one of the Twains, Amadel, so Dullahan is far more important than we thought
--I saw either a GM or a Mod say somewhere that an upcoming quest will tie Death in ToA to Death's Mansion (explaining why Death is at ToA)
-Let's finally not forget the giant prison that is against Gavel to law to walk into (hiding something shady there)

Ahmsord also has quite a few giant ruins that currently have no use, but are across the flying islands, Dogovi still has no use, the giant Emerald statue at K-B, we still have a lot of empty space.

Read what I edited on. I think instead of looking at the trailer for secrets and theories, you should be looking at what is inside the game now, and what seems important.

 

Actually, the image says "Bak'al is the horde leader" blah blah blah he's powerful AF
Also, I believe that Salted's name is there because it recognizes the player's Username, eg Grian, AbandonedBank, jpmrocks, etc

 

Don't assume things are from Dern before you look at all the angles and read what the quest NPCs say. The prison is for a quest that you can do sooo... And the flying islands are technically incomplete so you'll have to wait for later.

False. Death says after the quest Beyond The Grave with something like these lines "I heard there is someone pretending to be me in a white tower"

 

Jumping on Dern is a bit of a bandwagon, but it's just that since Dead Island's geography is very similar to Lexdale's fields/Olux's swamps, and Dead Island has Dern's Minions (endermen), it felt as solid as jello. I also, may be getting prisons and castles mixed up, cause there's the the prison with the Jailbreak, the one place with the giant prison in the basement, some giant stone structure with forbidden knowledge. And the flying island curious me (how do I verb curious?)
