Why Is The Door Of Time Open?

I was wondering around Wynn and realized that the Door of Time was open. I got super hyped and tried to go inside, but nothing happened. I know it wasn't always open, so... maybe it takes you to past Dern before the corruption?

However, I'd assume it's for main storyline reasons, as no quest currently uses it.

 

I found the same thing and almost died thinking that was the ??? quest :P

 

We have some cool updates coming up! Maybe they will have something to do with this mysterious opening..?

 

Any ideas on when said 'updates' are coming out?

I predict that a new quest (or even quests!) could be added to Time Valley as the game is updated. I mean, you can't just have a huge, beautiful structure, like the gate, sitting around, collecting dust. There must be some sort of plan for the place. Time will tell what'll happen, I guess!

 

That wasn't a pun was it? "Time will tell..." far out. But yeah, i agree. Such a large area can't be useless, and we barely use it for any quests at all. I hope its for higher levels though, like level 60-70, the quests already in that range don't even get close to offering enough xp for smooth level progression.
