Name Change

If I were to get a name change to my minecraft account, would all my gear, classes, and rank be kept the same? I'm thinking about it, but don't want to lose any of my progress. This is really one of the only servers I play on. If anyone has any information, or if staff know, please share.

 

Yes. Each account has a UUID which stays the same when you change your name.

 

Each account has a special number called a UUID. This is where your "true identity", if you will, is stored. All information on where you are, what you did, and what you have is recognized by UUID and not username.

However if you own a guild you might want to give the leadership to another person because for some reason when you change your name you're not accounted for in the guild anymore.
