    No, This is actually planned this way. We wanted it to be more interactive and include more proper gamedesign through missing chunks.

    It's a client side thing, been around for as long as Minecraft has. Just leave the server or restart your game and it'll go away.

    Hold down F3 and press A to reload your chunks. Should solve it.

    That is a chunk error. This is not a server issue, it is a client issue. Try reloading.
