No, it doesn't necessarily follow that that item "is probably a mess-up", as items and identifications have been dramatically changed. Marked wasn't wrong, he did find exactly what he said he found. Further, as Salted said, the usefulness of an item is going to depend on your playstyle. That particular crossbow requires a very strong archer in order to use it. That's all that this amounts to. The game mechanics have changed, and items suitable for a much wider range of play styles are now available.

 

the easiest way to get a wand would just be running around looting a few loot chests...easy emeralds and gear without the need of any weapon or armour :P

 

Look for some Loot chests until you get a wand you can use.
The most common weapons (normal weapons) only have level requirements anyways.

Ahhhh this is what happened to me, im lv 61 warrior did a strength def build and... Couldn't use my armor, so i met someone in detlas that payed 1 le for 2 bows, and i got to reset and now im even better than before :)

 

Armours/Acessories can give buffs to your skill point bonus'

So use armor and stuff that boots your points. I am spreading my points evenly as well, and using armor and stuff to boost whatever points

 

i am almost max level and cant use my full set of legendary armour or bow so i quit the server cause all of my class slots are used with 50+ level characters who cant use any of their stuff

I'm impressed, to be honest. You somehow pulled off a three-month, nearly four-month necro, on a thread from some person who distributed their skill points wrong at the start of the Gavel update.
