    I'm pretty sure that's proper grammar. If something is "very suspect" then there is something very strange or wrong about it. I'm sure I've heard it used multiple times before.

    I can attest to this! I constantly spell things wrong or mess up on my grammar when talking to people. Of course it has to be in things like chat where I cant make sure everything is okay.

    I've never seen "suspect" used as an adjective. I see it as a verb, so it doesn't make sense to me.

    Thing is, if something is 'suspect' it is suspicious or strange. It's proper English to use suspect like that.
